We heard the kids walking in. We were in the kitchen. I ran out and saw Cherrie crying. I ran to her and hugged her. "What's wrong?"

"I-I was bullied for being lesbian" "Just ignore them. You can like who you want to like. If you want. I can go over and show them who they are messing with"

"No dad dont" Cherrie said. "Ok" I sighed. They went upstairs and I went to my room. I cant believe my daughter is going through this.

DANIEL

I went upstairs and saw my daughter. She was in the bathroom with a knife in her hand. I saw blood on her wrist.

I backed up and ran into my room I share with Corbyn. I fell and cried on the floor. Corbyn hugged me. "What's wrong darling?"

"Ch-cherrie. She cut herself" I cried in Corbyns chest. "Shh" he kissed my head and he rubbed my back.

*few days later*

CORBYN

I got ready and the kids went to school. Daniel was confused on why I was dressed and ready. "I'm going to the school and telling them about this"

"Ok. I'll come" he got up and got ready. We went to their school. Same school we went to. We went in and I saw some kids choking Cherrie. Daniel cried and I ran over and pushed them.

"Dont touch my daughter!" I helped her up and hugged her. "Shh" she cried in my chest. "But shes worthless" daniel walked over.

"My daughter has been harming herself because of you" Daniel said. "Eww. Gay parents. That's nasty" "we dont care. We can date who we want to date. And if she wants to date a girl. She can date a girl" Daniel said defending her.

She walked away. "You ok Cherrie?" She shook her head. A girl came over and I held Cherrie close. "What happened?" "She was bullied for being lesbian" "oh no"

I let her go and the girl hugged her. She hugged back. Cherrie looked at me when they let go. She was blushing and I smiled. "Cherrie. We are going to talk to the principal about this ok" "ok dad" "bye cherrie" "bye mom" we left.

CHERRIE

"You have gay parents?" The girl asked. I shook my head yes. "What a coincidence. I do too" "really?" "Yea" "so what's your name?" I asked. "Flame" "nice name"

"Yea. Yours is Cherrie?" "Yeah" "how do you spell it?" "C-h-e-r-r-i-e" "oh cool" we went to class and we sat next to each other. We started class.

*few months later*

Me and Flame are really good friends. I started catching feelings for her. I went to school and saw her. She smiled at me. I saw my older brother.

He smiled at me as he passed. I saw Flame jealous and I went to her. "You like him?" "No" she said. She wasn't lying. "Then why did you look jealous?" I asked. "Can you come to the rooftop after school?" "Sure"

*few hours later*

I went up to the rooftop. I already told my brother to tell dad and mom that I'm staying after. I saw Flame. She saw me and I went over.

"Why did you want me up here?" "Because. I wanted to tell you about why I was jealous" "ok. But listen. He is my brother. So if your mad at me for smiling at him. I'm his sister"

"Listen. I dont like him" "then who do you like?" I asked confused. She walked closer to me. She grabbed my hands and pulled me closer.

"I like you" she kissed me and I kissed back. We pulled away. "Will you be my girlfriend?" She asked.

"Of course" we kissed again. We went home holding hands. Then I went to my house and went in.
