Hi, I'm Midnight. I'm 16 about 5'4 with snow-white hair and bright red eyes. Being the omega of the pack, I don't eat much which means I'm skinny, really skinny. I'm also paler than the others around me. Oh did I mention I'm a werewolf?

the morning came as it always did, five in the morning. Being an omega of the pack I had to do what they said. kind of like a slave. throwing my legs over the bed, I pulled them back to me after, my bare feet touched the cold floor.

A few minutes passed and I was just finished getting ready when a small knock came upon my door. Rushing over I swung it open. Afraid of who it was, relief flooded over me when I saw my best friend Rosa, she sighed loudly. She grabbed my elbow pulling me with her boney fingers.

"Stop standing there we could get into trouble" Rosa whispered/ yelled at me.

"Sorry but if they think I will cook today they are dead wrong!" I said with venom lacing it.

She giggled softly shaking her head.

"You say that every morning."

We walk into the kitchen while other omegas are already cooking. I help with the rest letting some talk a break.

We sang a song we sing every morning.

"Dreams are shattered lives are ruined but you'll still see us smiling"

While we were singing a loud crash and the sound of glass breaking. Everyone rushed over to a girl trying to pick up the glass. I stepped in and told her to stop. That's when she started to look for her glasses.

"What the he-." His words were lost looking at the semi-clean kitchen.

SLAM!

His hand came down on the counter, making all the girls jump.

"Who is in charge of the kitchen today?"

Anger started to fill me to the brink. Without a second thought, my hand went up.

"Ugh... I should've known." He pinches the bridge of his nose. Loud sighs escaped him. His gaze burned into my skull. Being the beta of the pack meant he was intimidating. He was also the Alpha's second in command.

"I'm s...sorry beta Jhon"

That's all that came out of, my mouth even though my mind was running a marathon of words. Jhon's bright blue eyes glazed over to dull ones. He made it clear that he was mind linking the alpha. We all stayed silent because when he came back too, he roughly. grabbed my arm.

" He told me to take you to the cellars."

Panic settled over me. My heart started to pound in my chest. His large hand had a tight grip on my arm, as he dragged me. No one has seen the alpha in two years. After the attack by rouges. Being pulled from my thoughts, I was thrown to the ground. Rouges and other omegas growled, shouting horrible things.

"Alpha is making a special trip for all of you!.." Jhon yelled making everyone shut up. " And you Alpha wants you to do everything for when he gets here"

Jhon let out a low chuckle.

"When is he coming ?" I didn't know if I could even get any more words out. His laugh stopped. His gaze felt like daggers.

"In two days so don't mess up!"

BANG!!

A rouge across from the hall was banging against the metal door. To say everything smelt bad was an understatement. Jhon closed my door, locking it behind him. A scream came from the other cell. A whimper escaped me s I quickly crawled tp the corner.

Being in here scared me to no end. Only bad horrible people came down here. Unless you're an omega. What I mean by that is if one of the omegas or me mess up, we get punished. It's unfair to treat us like that we are still humans.

It was cold. water leaked from the roof and made a small puddle on the floor. I was in the dark when the guards came down with peace of food for the omegas. I hear both males and females thank the guards.

They did not stop at my cell and walked right past me. I guess they forgot me again.  It wasn't always like this. I was liked, my parents wanted me and i had friends.

It wasn't till the rouge attack when everything went downhill, most parents were killed.

They said it was my fault for leading them there. I went to warn the pack after my run.

I had not noticed I was crying until a guard yelled at me to be quite.
