I woke up with that same burning pain in my stomach I felt yesterday, the pain was almost unbearable, but I pushed through it. I was a busy man and my line of work wasn't going to do itself.

Being Sottocapo wasn't my desired path in life but it was inevitable.. Omertà ran in my blood and is all I've ever known. There's no "quitting" or backing out You either get locked up or be killed those are the only options and I've grown to accept that. I am second in command under my Brother Ares after my father stepped down. I'm not mad about this position though, being boss was way to stressful and I wasn't looking forward to getting old fast, I am only 25 after all my brother was already behaving like a old man.I live my life in the underworld rarely coming to the surface.. in silence, very carefully and thoughtfully.

I'm in the states now taking care of a job or so I thought I was, I've been ambushed and now on run. I've got targets all over this fuckin city looking for me, even feds are on my back because of how powerful I am . So whether somebody snitched or I was set up by Antonio which is rare in my case, any little slip up and I will be locked up or underground. When I find out whos responsible for all this s*hit I will enjoy slowly killling their asses but for now I have to stay low, take care of things and leave right away before things get messy. If It wasn't for the woman who saved my life yesterday, I would've probably been dead.

At first I was going to get rid of her completely because of how much of a liability she was, but I saw something in her and I could maybe use the poor little thing for my benefit. The runaway seems emotionally and physically unstable not to mention lost besides all that, I could tell she was a strong reliable woman.I mean who the f*ck would risk there life for a complete stranger like she did. At this point in time I am desperate;all the men I came with are dead and Im practically alone in this city with no allies, she could be of some use.

Finally getting out of my head I sat up slowly and walked my way over to the bathroom to freshen up.
After I was done I made my way over to her room.

I stepped in to find the woman looking at me startled. I never really had a good chance to look at the woman , I didn't realize how beautiful she had been. She had silk golden mocha skin that glowed in the sun, with long, flowing kinky thick hair running down her back, and dark brown doe shaped eyes that were calling me. She looked soft, sweet, ... pure.

"Good you're up breakfast is being prepared , come down with me ," I ordered,

"Oh, I'm not really hungry," she said

"It wasn't a question, be down in 10 minutes," I stated coldly
As long as she's here everything I say goes.
I started walking out but was interrupted.

"Wait Luca, you said you would bring will bring me clothes yesterday are they here yet?" She asked me

"No, just wear another of of my teeshirts for now I'll get you some today" I said before walking out the room.

I started to head down stairs, I could smell breakfast from all the way up here, my house keeper Gina was at work cooking something up. God l I loved that woman she makes my life so much easier. I say good morning and hug her, then sat down and got my computer to get right with work, while breakfast was being prepared.
