Lisa
The sun betrays me, allowing me to get to up with its glares in my eyes, instead of telling me its another beautiful day.
I feel drained, yet energetic its like I have the rush but I don't wanna do anything. There is one thing that will always overpower everything else, my stomach .
I went downstairs , and smell the most amazing thing I've ever smelt, the only catch is there wasn't anyone in the kitchen but the linger of whatever it was, wasn't far.
I decided to think nothing of it and started breakfast. Footsteps made its way to my ear, I know its not human due to the speed but I also that its not in wolf form because it sounded like two pairs feet instead of four.
Suddenly the back door burst open with laughter and someone shouting "I win, you lose Daniel,my laundry is upstairs be gentle" the first boy said the boy that came in after him rolled his eyes.
"I only lost because you tripped me David" the one that came in second was the first to a knowledge my presents, he stopped dead in his tracks and soon the other one did too .
Right now I was staring into the eyes of a pair of identical twins. They both had dark chocolate skin and a mop of curly hair the only way you could tell the too apart was their height and eyes.
The one that came in first had darker brown eyes but had an inch up on his brother, while the other had lighter eyes but an inch shorter. They both look about eighteen.
"Oh you must be the new girl that mama's gonna train today" David said he eyes me quite suspiciously. "Have we meet before?" He asked in his thick Jamaican accent.
"I don't think so" I replied
"Oh you're not from here" Daniel said he eyes fogged over mind link
They're wolves
"Mama want you to meet her on the battle grounds"
I nodded dumbfounded its not that I've never seen wolves before but I just never thought that there were packs out here.
I walked out through the back door very unsure of where I was going, but I continued walking any way.
I walked outside there was miles and miles of cane. It was cut in the form of a maze but strangely I still know where she was, not by sight but by smell the smell of old books and spices.
Soon a high pitched scream made its way to my ear, it sounded like hers, like Hope. My feet took off before my brain register what had happen.
The sound was getting louder and the smell was getting stronger. There was a dead end that I was approaching as soon as that adrenaline kicked it was either all or nothing. I ran up to it and jumped over the six feet wall easily.
