I came outside the next day and saw King. "I would like to have a talk with you", said King. I nodded. He smiled at me. "Thank you for being patient, it's really hard to adjust to things like this", he said. I smiled. "It's no problem", I said. Queen walked to us. "Your father is right. It can be very hard to adjust', she said. I smiled. My parents hugged me. I was blessed to have parents like them. Luna came running. "I was looking for you, Leonidas!" She said. "Uh-oh, looks like someone is mad at the prince", said Queen.
Luna grabbed my paw. "I'm your bodyguard! You can't be running like that", she said. "I'm with my parents though", I said. She became silent. "So why did you run off?" Luna asked. Uncle General walked to us. "Someone ran off? Oh my! Is it the prince? God save the prince!" Asked Uncle General. "I'm here uncle!" I giggled. He looked at me and tickled me. "Who wants to hear a storytime?" Asked Uncle General. "I do!" I said. Uncle General looked at Luna. "Do you?" He asked.
She looked at the ground. "I guess", she said. "You guess? That's not an answer dear! It's either yes or no!" General said. Luna rolled her eyes. "As my law, I must be with Leonidas all the time so that is a yes or unless Queen or King will be with him", she said. We sat on a rock waiting for General to speak. "When me and your mother were young, we used to eat lots of gazelles and hyenas", said Uncle General. I enjoyed the story so far while Luna was bored. I decided to walk around. I walked up to the mountains. I sniffled and cried about yesterday.
I also saw a tiger cub crying. She asked me if I was alright. I didn't answer. We introduced each other. Her name was Catarina. Something about her was different in a way that I didn't like. We played tag all day till the sun came down. I decided to go home. Queen and King saw me. "We thought you died", said Queen as she hugged me. "Come with us", said King. The next day, I went to explore with Loki and Luna.
"So what did you want to show me?" I asked. "It's a surprise", said Loki. I looked at the ground. "Fine, we'll tell you", said Loki. "We met a new friend", said Luna. I smiled. "Really?" I asked. They nodded. They showed us a den. "We're here with the prince", said Luna. A black grown panther came out. I opened my mouth. "It's ok, I don't bite", the panther said in a nice voice. I was still scared. "She's telling the truth", said Luna. "Yeah, you should meet her son, he's so nice", said Loki. She smiled and called him by his name. Her name was Panthera and her son's name was Prince Cheetah.
"So, I heard a lot about you in a good way of course", said Panthera. I smiled. Prince Cheetah came and saw me. "Oh my god! Is this the real prince?" Asked Prince Cheetah. "Yes it is and did we have a talk about personal space?" Asked Panthera. Prince Cheetah nodded. "And what do you have to say to me and him?" Panthera asked in a gentle-strict tone. "Sorry mom and sorry prince", he said. Panthera smiled. "I see you guys are a fan of me", I said. "We respect you dear", said Panthera.
