Ivy ran down the halls, trying not to look at anyone that she had passed on her way home. She knew deep down that they were all laughing at her now. How could they not? A girl just went out to meet with her best friend, and found him kissing the girl that she was still crushing on. What kind of sick joke is that? Oh right, it was Ivy newman's life. One that seemed to be falling out of place with each passing day.

Scrambling up the stairs as fast as she could, the blonde wiped at the tears that were now blurring her vision. How could this happen? She thought to herself as she made it to her apartment. As she reached for her keys she just couldn't stop herself from shaking enough so she could unlock the door. She hoped that no one would find her like this, Ivy didn't think that she could handle dealing with anyone else today all she wanted was to go inside and lay on the couch until time stopped.

Once she finally got the door unlocked, the young girl pushed into her apartment and was attacked with the grating sound of her telephone ringing in the other room. She couldn't figure out who would be calling her right now, but then she remembered she had plans today. Oh well. Instead of answering the phone, she walked up to it and unhooked it, silencing its agrivating sound.

She sighed and set the phone down, before making her way back to the couch and plopping onto it. "Why me?" She asked herself as she clutched a throwpillow to her chest. The girl couldn't understand how her life had become such a mess in the last year. None of it made sense. She couldn't remember what exactly sparked all of the events that happened, but she was sure that it was all her fault, because as she recently realized everything that had happened had spawned from her mistakes. Or so she believed. Tossing around on the couch she began to reminisce about the good old days, way before this had ever happened. Though the more she thought about it, the more she remembered that it wasn't her doing. It had all started with a rumor, one that was spoken by one of her close friends who thought he was doing the right thing.

Groaning to herself  she finally felt sleep, that she didn't realize she needed, take her away into a light slumber that was anything but peaceful.
