the woods

Me and Ivy headed to detention when we saw something or someone abnormal we both turn and lookout the window and see " Is that Veronica running into the woods" I say to ivy but Ivy's already down the hall " are you coming slow poke" she said yelling it from down the hallway. I paused "what about detention and plus we won't be able to catch up to her from way over here" I said not really wanting to chase the missing girl. Ivy turns back around and says " not if you don't hurry we won't and plus Mr. Eric can suck it for a day all he do is nit pick". I turn to the classroom and run after Ivy I look back to see Mr. Eric watching in silence. I turn and run faster, I catch up to ivy at the edge of the woods "shouldn't we call the cops or something Ivy" I said. "What's the fun in that we go see if we can find her and if not we bounce and then call the cops" ivy said. We step into the woods slowly but surely getting swallowed by the wilderness with each step seemed like there was no coming back. I was getting this feeling again but maybe it was butterflies in my stomach I shrugged it off and kept going. Then the sun started to dim, "we been out here hours ivy and there's nothing in site were in the middle of the woods probably lost and no sign of Veronica nowhere I'm starting to think we were seeing things ivy ivy are you listening" I said starting to get upset " shhhhhhh do you hear that get behind me and be quite" Ivy said with a tone I've never heard from her before like she was concerned and scared at the same time. I said "Ivy you get behind me I got you follow me we're leaving" I grab a hold of ivy's hand and start running but what ever she heard was following us I tried to run faster but the head pains came back worse then before. I fell to the ground screaming ivy then said " hey big guy I'ma need you to get up what wrong with you" "my head it's been a problem all day the nurse said i might have migraines I I think I can get back up" I said trying to get myself together. "Your what been bothering you why are you just telling me this" ivy said upset "now's not the time ivy what ever chasing us sounds hungry like it hasn't eaten in years" I said ready to get out the woods she lifts me up and we start running again but I was in to much pain " leave me go get help ivy"  "I'm not going nowhere small fry so don't even say anything stupid like that again" ivy said with gusto she finds a big stick on the ground and we start moving again but whatever it was had caught up to us so I pull myself together and pick up a a stick. Whatever it was was circling us and there was no open area for us to bolt so we lean on each other back to back griping our weapon's then out nowhere a shadowy figure come and I swing. Whatever it is it's humanoid and reeks of copper and death. Before I know it I'm on the ground dazed I could barely see but I see ivy swing her stick and hit the creature "hang in there small fry I'ma get us out of here" Ivy says knowing she doesn't believe that. I try and pull myself up again but again it hits me back down like it's playing with it's next meal ivy swings and hits it again. I was  dazed and my vision was blurred before I know it I hear ivy scream and taken before I could process what just happened I look up to see Mr.Eric in front of me looking down at me but it was to late I was passing out looking at Mr.eric and the look in his eyes something wasn't right then thing went blank. "Jacob Jacob wake up it's me oscilla your grandma Jacob I need you to wake up your all I have left please don't leave me here alone not like your father did" I could hear her but I wasn't conscious I was back in the woods but not were I was knocked out this place feel like I been here before it felt like home but why would the woods feel like home. Im wondering around aimlessly but then I hear two voice's talking back and forth arguing I was trying to make out what they were saying "no absolutely not" the man said. Then the lady said "I don't need your permission there coming for him what do you want, you want him to die". I know I probably shouldn't say anything but the voices sound so familiar and plus I don't know where I am but it feels like a dream " excuse me anyone there can someone hear me" I yelled. But then the voices stopped then both of them started talking again "see he's already to strong his power is already starting to act up if you would have let him know what he is at a young age he wouldn't be going through this now and could at least defend himself". Are they talking about me why do they sound familiar I follow there voices getting closer till hear " your mad me for wanting a normal life for him" the man said " but he's not normal far from it he's our little boy and were stuck here I can't even protect my boy" the lady said . I move further up and it becomes all to clear why this place seem familiar and why I know those voices. I move further up and see them "mom and dad" I said about to cry "It is not your time Jacob" they said together and lift there hands up I then feel a tug a strong pull and it yanked me into reality. I lunged up looking around to see oscilla staring at me "
