These Words

You see im sad

But you don't care

You see im mad

But you make no move to calm me

You see in hurting

But you don't try to soothe me

And it hurts

Knowing you see my pain

But don't care enough to help

It hurts Knowing

I have nothing left

But what hurts more

Is hearing you say im stupid

And ugly

And fat

And unloved

These words would normally hurt

But not this bad

Because you said them, Mother
