"It's time to announce the trainees possible of placing 1st for this elimination..."
MC Hwang sunbaenim is already done announcing the trainees that placed 9th to 3rd, the 1st, 2nd and the 10th place are the only spots left.
*In Korea, "Sunbaenim" is an honorific title used when you refer to anyone who entered your academic or work environment before you. "Senior" in short.*
I'm still here standing nervously, my heart's pounding unusually, my face's covered with sweat, I'm still waiting for my name to be called.
Even though I placed 3rd in the previous ranking announcement, I'm still unsure if I'm gonna make it today. With my blood, sweat and tears, I did my very best, I think fans enjoyed my performances, I'm really hoping for a sugar-sweet result.
"The first candidate for rank 1, congratulations trainee Jiwoo Ha of BEAM ENTERTAINMENT!" Sunbaenim announced with excitement.
Jiwoo unnie rushed towards the stage and stood in a circular podium. She flashed her bright smile full of happiness and focused her eyes to the camera.
*In Korea, "Unnie" is what a female call another female older than her. "Ate" in Filipino.*
"The other candidate is..."
I really hope na matawag na ko, if I'm not called as a candidate for rank 1, then that simply means na napakalaki ng chance that I won't survive this elimination.
"...congratulations trainee Bomi Jeong of PETAL ENTERTAINMENT!" He announced.
I just smiled awkwardly as the camera films me and the remaining trainees, I felt bad at myself, I was hoping for my rank to improve or even maintained, but I failed, I felt stabbed with thousands of swords, it was really painful for someone who has big dreams like me.
I wept silently as Bomi unnie stood in a circular podium like Jiwoo unnie.
"Trainee Jiwoo, how are you feeling?" Sunbaenim asked.
"I'm really really thankful for the Dream Makers who voted for me and appreciated my talent, It's actually fine for me if I don't get the 1st place, the 2nd place is really high, but I would feel so overwhelmed if I place 1st. Thank you Dream Makers!" Jiwoo unnie humbly said.
"How 'bout you, trainee Bomi?" Sunbaenim asked Bomi.
"I'm actually contented in any place as long as I'll be on the debut line up. Thank you Dream Makers!" Bomi Unnie said with her elegant and ear-catching voice.
"After hearing their words to Dream Makers, it's now time to announce the trainee who ranked 1..."
I'm happy for the two of them...
"...is it gonna be trainee Jiwoo Ha or trainee Bomi Jeong? The result is in my hands right now."
Everyone went silent as the heart-pounding BGM played.
"Congratulations...trainee Jiwoo Ha! You may now go to the 1st place spot." Sunbaenim exclaimed.
"Since Jiwoo ranked 1st, Bomi you're rank 2, please go to your spot as well."
I feel jealous, sana di talaga ako ma-eliminate. I just looked at them while they're happily going to their spots.
"Ranks 1 to 9 are already announced, which means there's 1 more spot left...I'll announce the candidates for the 10th place."
I've lost the burning hope in my heart, there are a lot of talented trainees left, I think they might get the spot.
"The first candidate, trainee Jinjoo Nam of KC ENTERTAINMENT!"
