Dreams don't come true

Kyanna's pov

I woke up the next morning to a silent house which was strange, usually i would be waking up to Daniel's merciless hands. I slowly descended the stairs in fear that if i made a loud sound he might come out to beat me, when i reached the kitchen i saw a piece of paper on the counter top. I slowly took it up and saw that it was a note from the devil himself informing me that i start school today as he got me unrolled before we moved, i made myself breakfast and went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for what's to come. I was hoping to see Shemar again so i put a little more effort when getting ready, i did my make up a little more heavier, my hair that was usually in a low ponytail was done in two puff like buns with my edges laid, my hoodies and baggy jeans was switched for a tight turtle neck and my favourite black jeans paired off with my vans. And because i was in a very good mood i ended of the outfit with the necklace my mom gave me on my birthday, i never wore it around Daniel in case he took it from me. Today felt like a dream come true where Daniel would stop beating me and be the kind hearted person he was before would make an appearance, i feel light like today is going the beginning of something new.

I arrive at school with an half an hour to spare, as i made my way towards the school i felt everybody's eyes on me. I felt uncomfortable with all this attention on me so i kept my head down. I was blindly walking around trying to find the adminstrative office to get my class schedule, locker number and a map of this darn maze of a school. I wasn't paying attention to where i was going so i ended up walking into a wall, "who the fuck put a wall in the middle of the hall?" was the first thing i shouted while rubbing my now aching head. "Wow such a bold mouth for such a shy girl" chuckled a familiar voice, i slowly looked up to see Shemar staring at me with with a amuse look on his face. To say i was embarrassed would be an understatement, i don't even think they have a word for how i'm feeling right now to make matters worst i'm as red as a tomato and i just realized that we had the attention of all the students in the hallway. The school was so silent that you could hear a pin drop if somebody dropped one, with all this attention on me i started to get uncomfortable so bad that i started to squirm a bit. Shemar seemed to realize and gave everyone a hard glare that sent them back to what they were doing, i let out a sigh and found myself relaxing again. "You looking for the administrative office?" he asked "yea but this school is like a maze" i softly replied, he smiled and gestured for me to follow him and i did. It felt like i was in one if those clique movie's where the popular couple would be walking and everyone would stare at them with different expressions some curious, confuse, shock and most of them are jealous looks which of course came from the females directed to none other than me, i don't even know why they would be glaring me down to be honest. Instead of trying to figure out why i just followed Shemar with my head down, it turned out i was on the other side of the school and there's no surprise in that since i have no sense of direction.

I collected all the necessary stuff from the administrative office and was trying to figure out where my locker is with the map and let me tell you this thing looks like a toddler drew it. "Hey shem, how in God's name do i find my locker because this thing is of no use" i asked while holding up the useless map, he chuckled looked at my locker number and showed me to my locker. I was putting stuff in my locker while he looked at my schedule to see what classes we had together when your typical fake barbie walked up to Shemar and kissed him smack on his lips, i expected him to kiss her back but to my surprise he shoved her off closed my locker and pulled me along with him saying that we had every class together.

The rest of the day was uneventful, Shemar showed me to my classes and introduced me to his two best friends Tyra and Tyler which are twins if you didn't pick up by the identical names. When school ended we were all walking to the car park the twins in front and Shem and i behind them laughing at them bicker about who's more hotter, i was so focused on the twins that i didn't see a brooding and pissed off Daniel walking over to us until it was too late and he was in front of us with a fake smile. "Ah Kyanna i see you made a few friends, that's wonderful hunny" the two faced bitch said through his teeth with the smile still on his face, i slowly shook my head with a forced smile and tried to play along with his game. " Oh wonderful" he faked happiness " well i'm Daniel, Kyanna's stepfather its nice to meet you kids, i would love to get to know you guys more but Kyanna's uncle Micheal came by to see the house and he wants to spend time with his favourite niece before he leaves tomorrow" he said in one go clearly wanting to hurry this up, "Mi-micheal is here" i stammered in fear. Micheal is Daniel's best bud and he would always try to get in my pants, i'd always keep my distance from him as much as i could, " come along Kyanna we can't have him waiting too long we know how grumpy he gets when he's hungry" he said with a eye roll. They all waved and told me they'd see me tomorrow, as we stepped through the door of the house i was thrown by the hair to the direction of Micheal. " Don't get the slut pregnant" was the only thing Daniel said before leaving again like he wasn't handing over his step daughter to get raped, Micheal looked at me with a sinister smile on his face before he threw me over his back and carried me up to my room. I screamed and kicked but it didn't do anything but amuse him " i've been waiting on this day for years now and i'm gonna take my sweet little time and enjoy that sweet tight pussy of yours" he panted as roughly threw me on the bed. He came towards me but before he could even get to put his disgusting lips on me i kicked him in the balls then the face, he got angry that he beat me until i passed out...
