Chapter 5

You lay there restless, waiting for him to get the water but, after a while you fall asleep.

Jungkook comes back with water and some snacks.

"God the water was heavy to carry." he mumbles but then sees you asleep and quickly covers his mouth "Sorry about that Y/N" he says basically to himself.

He puts everything in the kitchen. He walks over to the couch and sits on floor admiring you "Awh you're so peaceful when you sleep," he says, which causes you to wake up.

You slowly open your eyes and see Jungkook staring at you, you blink a few times and then jump up "Ah!! Jungkook what are you doing?" You say pretty loudly and it startled him.

"Oh I'm so sorry Y/N I didn't mean to watch you sleep sorry if that came off creepy!" He stands up "Anyway I uhm got the water!" he says walking to his room.

"Hey! Get your butt back here sir!" You exclaim.

Jungkook slowly turns around and walks back to the couch with an awkward smile on his face.

"Hey so, what was that all about?" You ask crossing your arms.

He rubs he neck and replies with "I don't know honestly-I don't know I'm sorry about that- I just thought you looked cute sleeping." he mumbles his face turning a little red.

"Awwh well thanks for the compliment, but that's no excuse silly." You reply punching him in the arm lightly.

His face kind of showed that he didn't expect that response, "Anyway sorry," he mumbles and goes back to his room.

Awe he's cute when he's shy.

It's Monday, meaning you have some classes today.

You wake as you usually do, getting yourself ready for the day.

One of your classes starts at 9:15 so you decide with some light breakfast, then you see Jungkook walk out but heads straight for the bathroom.

Is he still embarrassed?

You wonder about yesterday and what he said Is it a big deal to call someone cute- not to me it's not? Is it to him?

You are trying to understand this guy, He did say he wasn't gay. So maybe he's just shy around girls- no he did talk to me pretty normally, but he gets shy around me other times, ahh this guy is complicated.

You come up with a plan, to see how he acts when you do some flirty vs. not.

After he walks out of the bathroom and you wave your arm to signal him to come over.

He walks over to you, "Yeah Y/N?" He says shyly and not making any eye contact.

"Jungkook is everything okay?" You say lifting his chin to face you.

You can tell he is a bit uncomfortable, "Y-Yeah." He replies.

"Are you sure? Nothing to do with yesterday?" You say holding his chin in place.

"I'm sure," He mumbles.

You lean closer to his face, "Well, did you mean what you said yesterday?"

His face gets red, "What did I say haha," he laughs nervously.

"Oh you know when you called me cutee, did you mean it?" You giggle slightly.

Omg look at me go on soo smooth-

"Y-yeah" he mumbles quietly.

You get even closer to his face centimeters away and say "I think you're cute too~"

Then you lean back and hit his back "Haha gotcha! That's what you get for yesterday!" You say laughing.

Oh my god- he was actually going to let me kiss him whaaaat -

"Oh yeah right, I feel so embarrassed right now," he laughs a little too.

"Anyway, lets head to school Jungkook." You grab your bag heading toward the door.

"Right, " he responds getting his things.

Jungkook's POV

Oh my god, that's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me.

I didn't expect that at all, its like I just froze.

Andd she said I'm cute- but did she mean it?? Or was it part of the prank?

You know what, obviously she's not into me anyway, do i should treat her like any other friend right? I just need to stop being anxious around girls that's all.
