Chapter 3: Ash's remaining friends find him

Flashback end

"And that's what happened" concluded Ash. Erika couldn't believe what happened to Ash. She had tears coming from her eyes and was completely in shock. How dare those traitors hurt Ash after everything he did for them to accomplish their own dreams. She had a crush on him ever since he saved her Gloom from the burning Celadon City Gym, so to hear that her crush was heartbroken after he was betrayed by some of his closest friends was devastating. Erika then asked, "What about your other friends''. Ash said, "Well, Gray, Misty, Max, May, Dawn, Paul, Bianca (BW), Iris, Cilan, Clemont, Bonnie, Serena, and some others, their friendship to me is currently in question as I didn't see them at my house when I got betrayed. If I see them again, I'll just hope they didn't betray me as well". Erika then nodded. She then asked, "If you don't mind me asking Ash, where did you get the Lucario?". Ash then said, "I got him as a Riolu when I first came to the Seaform Islands and since I got him I've been working on improving my aura". 

After a while of talking with each other, Ash and Erika heard some familiar voices. "Ash Ketchum! We found you at last!" It was the voices of Gray Oak, Misty Waterflower, May Maple, Max Maple, Dawn Berlitz, Paul Slaid, Iris Dragonheart, Cilan, Bianca Bel, Clemont Lemon, Bonnie Lemon, and Serena Yvonne, Ash's remaining friends. Ash then became worried if they betrayed him as well because they won't at his house when he got betrayed by his mother Delia, Brock, Tracey, Ritchie, Drew, Harley, Barry, Conway, Kenny, Cameron, Trip, Sawyer, and Alain. Max then ran up to his hero and former travelling companion and asked "We missed you, Ash, why did you disappear 3 and a half years ago" Ash was then relieved that the rest of his friends didn't betray him because if they did betray him, he would be even more heartbroken than he is right now. "Yeah, Ash, why did you disappear?" asked Serena with some worry as she noticed Ash was in some sort of pain as there were some tears going down Ash's face and there was a very sad look on his face. Ash's face grew darker as the memory of him being betrayed by most of his friends showed up in his head again, which caused the friends that remained loyal to Ash back off slightly. Once he was calm enough thanks to some soft counselling from Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, Bianca, and Serena, Ash then told them what happened to him when he returned home from his second-place finish at the Kalos League.
