'Wake up liam' you said shaking him
'morning babe' he said rubbing your stomach gently
'its 11:00am, shall we get breakfast on the way to the hospital?' you asked
'yeah might as well, cant wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl' liam said smiling
'me either, now come on, get dressed, ill be downstairs' you said walking out of the room
you sat down on the sofa, imagining having a little boy/girl, and what your lives would be like, in a big house, with all the family coming round to see baby payne.
'you ready babe?' liam said
'yeah, im ready, ill drive' i said
'no, ill drive' liam said taking the keys out of your hand, 'its too dangerous for you to be driving' he said
'liam, im not even 1 month yet' you said laughing
'i dont care, i want you and baby payne to be safe' he said with a smug look on his face, trying not to laugh.
you got in the car and liam drove to the nearest hospital and we sat in the reception.
'Mr&Mrs Payne' we heard a women speak, 'please go to the room on your right'
you both stood up, liam linked his arm with yours and walked into the room
'hello' the woman greeted us,' i am Alex, and i will be taking your scan'
we both smiled at he as i took a seat on the bed.
'it might be a bit cold' she said putting a clear jelly on my stomach, she began scanning my stomach.
liam took a deep breath, staring at the screen.
'thats your little girl' she pointed
me and liam looked at eachother and smiled
'a little girl' i whispered
'shes beautiful' liam said
'ill give you some space while i print off your scan' Alex said smiling at us.
