--------Chapter1: Introduction---------

Emma's POV~

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I walked down stairs to see my dad making pancakes. I scratched my dirty-blonde hair and said " good morning." in a tired way. "Good Morning, sunshine! And how did you sleep?!" my dad questioned in an excited way.

"good I guess."

"So dad what brings you here"

The only reason I say this is because he is in my flat ( apartment). "Oh, Milly wanted to see you?!" then he smiled and pointed towards the living room.

There I saw my little sister Milly watching TV and has 1D magazines all over her lap and in her hands. She turned around and said "Hey, I wanted to know if we could go shopping!" then smiled. After, she held up 1D tickets. I smiled "Milly, of course I will!". Milly is 12 and is in LOVE with One Direction. The reason that I do most of these type of things is because my mum died earlier this year and I was there. It was January 6 and I could never forget it.

(~FLASHBACK~)

I walked into my mom's car.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY!!!" and then my mum hugged me. I know it's only been like to days but for some reason, I missed her warm hugs. I couldn't believe I was 19! She drove me to this nice dinner and we talked for a while.

"So mum, how are you?"

"I'm fine, and how was your vacation with your dad?" She replies.

You see, my mum and dad got divorced about a year or two. So now, every year on either my Sister's or my birthday, we spend a day or to with my dad and then a day or to with my mum.

After lunch, we got our nails done. I was having the best time just spending time with my mum. Once we left the nail salon we walked to the car.

As we were driving back home, we reached a stop light. When the light turned green we slowly started drive when... BOOM!!! A car hit us.

~At the Hospital~

My eyes opened. I was lying on a hospital bed in a hospital room. It was quite. Across the room was my mum on another hospital bed. I tried to reach out to her but I felt weak at the time. Then I saw my sister and my father on the to chairs. Milly was up and crying while my dad was asleep.

"Milly?"I said.

"Emma! Your ok!"she said. She got up and walked to my bed. She held hand and said "M...m...mums...mums dead." then she started to cry.
