Chapter 10

Haiden

" pew..pew..pew..pew" is what I heard before running behind the chick-fil-a counter.

I was fuming because my order wasn't done yet and people decided to shoot up the place!

The shooting came to stop about 5 mins after that and now all that was heard throughout the quiet mall was shouting.

"Find her and when you do bring her to me" A man whose voice I think I heard once before yell.

Please lord don't let that "her" be me. Before I could finish the rest of my prayer I got grabbed and dragged out to the middle on the floor.

"Here she is boss" the man who grabbed me had a nasty scar above eye that made him appear very scary.

"Well we meet again Beautiful" the man who I suddenly remember now spoke to me.

I think his name was something with a D, maybe Dylan. No Devin... now thinking about it I think it starts with a B... ummmmm Blasé noooo, think Haiden think. Shoot it's Baylor!!

"It's asham that husband of yours couldn't be here today" he said with a smirk.

As soon as Baylor said that, his men started dropping left and right.

"Maybe I spoke too soon sweetheart" he said grabbing me. In a not so hard way, it was like he didn't want to hurt me at all.

" Going after a girl pretty weak of you, leave her alone and come get me" Kodí's  powerful yet calm voice said

"Now where's the fun in that Kodí" he spoke just as powerful and calm.

"You don't want to do this Baylor, I promise you" Kodí said getting annoyed.

" Let's make this simply, I leave with the girl and nobody gets hurt because you see you've only killed half of my men Kodí, this could end bad for you" Baylor said.

I don't think he knows how my "Husband" rolls Kodí always stay with more than enough men with him at all times.

"How about I make you a deal, give me back my Wife and you won't die how about that" Kodí said with the rest of the guys behind him now.

Baylor took a minute then pushed me towards the middle.

"If I can't have her then nobody can" was all I heard him say before pain made its way throughout my while body.

I stood there for a minute looking at Kodí and the guys with blood rushing out of my mouth, trying to say bye.

Everything was silent it's like time was frozen.  I think everyone came back, when they all heard me gasping for air.
That's when I heard gunshots going off and I felt someone pick up and that's all I remember before everything went black.

Later that night

Where the hell am I ?
how the hell I get here?
and why am I in pain?

There was a lamp on and I tried to look around, but I stopped when I was struck with pain. I looked down at my body and notice my clothes were replaced and I was wrapped up.
