Taylor paced back and forth in his room, the sunlight outside beaming against his windowpane. He wanted to meet his new girlfriend. He wanted to hang with his friends. He wanted to go outside and play soccer at his school's field. He wanted to eat at Chubby's at his favorite booth. But he couldn't do any of these.
It was corona time.
"It's corona time," Taylor muttered as he plopped onto his bed, bored. He reached for his switch and started playing his favorite game Animal Tossing, where he can throw various living creatures without PETA knowing. He caught a glimpse of himself in the screen as the next scene was loading. Messy hair that hasn't been washed in a while, dead-tired eyes, and dry, crusty lips. "Collect them apples", he whispered.
He rubbed his eyes and rolled over to look at a picture frame of him and his best friend, Aiden. I miss Aiden.... he thought. I wonder how he's doing....he had such a tragic backstory....
Aiden's Tragic Backstory:
"M-Mom?" Little Aiden walked down the stairs and saw his mom lying dead on the floor. "Are u fokeen dead?"
She really was. In fact, his dad was dead too. Little Aiden sat at his couch on the living room and played Super Simp 64 on his DS. He got 4th place, oh well. He eventually started fortnite dancing, but only after he checked that he was in privacy because nobody knew his guilty pleasure. He also did the nae nae a little.*End backstory*
Taylor sighed. "Maybe I should go call one of my friends to pass some time."
He looked through his call list and pressed Lee. Lee was off to the best and most prestigious university: Craz Co College. Life has treated him well after Sierra rejected him. He became a popular boy at school, graduated his high school as a valedictorian, and got accepted to Craz Co College.
The call ringed four times before Lee picked up, "Hello? I'm sorry I currently can't see the caller ID who is this?"
"It's me, Taylor," Taylor replied. "Just wondering how you were doing in the midst of quarantine."
"Uh, I'm not in quarantine," Lee said, almost in a grunt.
Taylor chuckled, "Oh man... don't tell me you're one of those dumbos going outside on purpose."
"No, I have to treat the dumbos who do," Lee said hastily. "I've acquired a position as a medical practitioner, I feel like I've reached the inter-phase stage of cell cycle. It's so busy here ahhhhhh."
"Oh wow, a doctor....," Taylor suddenly felt an inferiority complex creeping up on him. "Congrats dude, seems like you're advancing in society pretty fast."
"Thanks, but unfortunately, with bigger roles comes bigger responsibilities. I got to go take care of another 34 patients before my lunch break starts. I'll chat with you later, Taylor".
"Yeah, take care bud. See ya s-"
Lee hung up on him before Taylor could finish his sentence. He would've felt bummed about it if it weren't for an incoming Discord call notification right after his call with Lee. Taylor checked it and it was from Bah, Kaelin's friend.Taylor picked up, "Hey Bah, what's up?"
"Be honest with me Taylor," Bah said. "Do y'all consider me as a friend or am I just 'Kaelin's friend' to you?"
"You're just Kaelin's friend haha" Taylor said before nearly hanging up on him."Wait! Don't hang up!" Bah exclaimed. "Join my island in Animal Tossing."
"Sweet," Taylor took out his switch and virtually walked to Bah's island and stole 625 peaches.
"My peaches! N-"
Taylor hung up on Bah. After all, he was just Kaelin's friend. Not much happened for the rest of Taylor's morning. Jack came by and rang his doorbell.
"Jack?" Taylor answered. "What are you doing outside? Don't you know there's government orders to stay inside at almost all times? It's dangerous."Jack pouted at Taylor's unfriendly greeting. "N-Word."
