Chapter 8: My Weakness

" Woah who are you? " Taehyung asked me

" You're girlfriend is so beautiful " Jungkook told Taehyung

" She's my girlfriend? " as he stood up and walked towards me " Well, I think I'm so lucky that I have the most beautiful girl " as he kissed me on my forehead and I chuckled and all of them acted like they are jealous haha

" You're on the right time. Let's go baby " as Taehyung held my hands.

He's so sweet. This is the one of the best night. I'm with my love of my life. I thought he actually doesn't know me... Wait... Did he just... asked who am I?... No!!!! This is a dream!!!!

Wait no no no. It can't be. Don't tell me that Taehyung is the person... No!!!

No please tell me this is a lie.

" Are you okay Y/n? " Taehyung asked me.

We're in the car. I acted like it was all okay... even I know it isn't

" Yes I'm okay " as I smiled at him pretending I'm okay.

When got to the place where we'll see the fireworks, we waited until the time has come. 

" 5.... 4.... 3.... 2.... 1.... Happy New Year!!! "

( Sound of fireworks )

While the others are keep shouting 'happy new year', I keep looking at the fireworks while asking why. Why him? Why? 

I didn't know. I didn't know that my tears fell down from my eyes. Taehyung hugged me

" Tears of joy? Happy new year baby. I love you. " he kissed me in my forehead " I will always love you " as I cried. I cried... so much.

It hurts. Why? Why him? 

Taehyung POV

I don't know what's happening. I don't know why Y/n was crying. All I know is, she is safe in my arms. I will always make sure that she's okay. I love her so much. 

I hugged her tight. She hugged me back but more tight than I expected. 

I don't want to ask her but I can feel that there is something wrong. I want to ask her but I know that she will say " I'm fine. Don't worry ". Why does all the relationship be like this. Always pretending that they are fine even that they aren't.

After that day, another day of another year, she became more and more colder than usual. Sometimes she is cold to me but this time, it's... colder. I even hired some people to look after her and report to me if there is some problems but there are no problems as what they reported to me. 

One day... I tried to asked her over the phone...

" Hey are you okay? Your so cold lately "

...but as expected... she answered that...

" I'm fine. Don't worry "

...that words again. I'm getting more and more curious. She has changed. I don't know what happened but I need to know. I'm her boyfriend so I'll be responsible for it if something happened to her.

Y/n POV

I know, since that day, I became colder to him. I also know that he hired some people to look after me that's I acted normal. 

One day, he called me and asked if I'm okay. As usual, I said I'm fine. 

Taehyung-ah, I want to tell you everything. I want to tell you my problems. I want to tell you ehn I'm hurt, but... I can't. I don't want to hurt you that's why I can't tell you. I can be hurt but I can't hurt you. It hurts me more if I saw you hurting because of me. I'm selfish? It's okay as long as you don't get hurt.

What can I do? I don't want to kill you but I have no choice. I don't know who will die to replace you. I don't if it's SeoHyun, or if it's one of my parents. I can't let that happen. What should I do? I want ask you to help me decide but I can't. I know, you will choose to sacrifice yourself for me. 

I'm not afraid of anything. I can do anything. But since I met you... I'm afraid... I'm afraid of losing you. I'm afraid of letting you go. I'm now... afraid. Taehyung-ah, what should I do?

I need to face this. I need to be brave and face everything. 

Tuesday
I called him

" Let's meet. Somewhere that we can be alone together. Where there is no people... except the two of us "

" Why? Is there something wrong? " he asked. His voice... his voice is worried. I can't help my tears to fall down. 

I hanged it up so that he can't hear my voice. He will know that I'm crying if he hears. I texted him where we will meet and I went there. I didn't went there without anything.

He came running. He came worried. " What happened? Is there anything wrong? Tell me "

I cried...

Taehyung POV

I don't know what's happening. She called out of the blue and told me to meet her in somewhere there is no people except for us. I asked her why but she didn't answer me, she hanged it up instead. She texted me where to meet up, so I went there immediately. I'm getting worried. 

I went there, and she was there already. 

" What happened? Is there anything wrong? Tell me " I asked her but she cried instead of answering. What's wrong?! I can't get it! " Aish... Tell me! What's wrong?! " she cried more and she hugged me tight. I got teary because of her. 

" Why are you crying? Are you sick? or are you going abroad? " I hugged her back tight " Are you leaving me? " as I can't help but cry because I'm afraid for what her answer is. 

She cut the hug and looked at me. 

" Now... can you tell me what's wrong? " I asked her

" I can't " she answered. Why? Why does she can't?

" Tell me. I'll help you "

" You can't help me "

" I can. I'm your boyfriend "

" THAT'S WHY I CAN'T TELL YOU!!!..." she shouted but then her voice got lower "...I don't want to hurt you that's why I can't tell you "

Y/n POV

He want me to tell him even though he can't help me. 

" THAT'S WHY I CAN'T TELL YOU!!!..." I shouted but then my voice got lower "...I don't want to hurt you that's why I can't tell you "

" What do you mean? "

" I can't hurt you. But I can't lose them. I can't lose my dream. But also I don't want to lose you, so what should I do? "

" I don't have another choice, do I? "

I get the knife behind my pants and stabbed him on his chest while my eyes are closed. I can't feel his hand anymore.

His voice... I opened my eyes as my tears fell down and I realized... I'm in... my room.

I closed my eyes and cried more as I heard an old woman's voice and also a man's voice

" Well done, Y/n " an old woman voice

" Y/n... I love you " and... a man's... voice.
