The Shadow

Run, run from that shadow and hide

Before it tears you up alive

Run, run before it catches up

Making you feel not good enough.

Closer, closer it's coming to you.

A flash then darkness is all you knew.

Then darkness and numb

Is all you feel

You're not dumb

You know it's real.

You only have a bit

Hurry! It's coming quick

And before you know it...

...before you hear it

And before you see it...

It's there in no time

It's there

And it'll get you

And eat you alive.
