Sera, is trying everything she can to avoid making even a single noise. She walked slowly out of the bedroom toward the grand stairway.

She can say that the mansion is as beautiful as it was meant for the King and Queen. The design is wonderful and the furnitures are obviously expensive. The walls are painted with white while the edges are painted with gold.

But for her, living there was like living in her darkest nightmare.

She was so nervous, but she knew that if she won't do this, she will never get out of that dungeon. She wanted nothing more than to get out of the hell she was into right now.

She was on her way to the main door when suddenly someone holds her arm that makes her stop from her tracks.

"Where do you think you're going, Sera?" a low and deep baritone voice filled the whole living room.

Hearing his voice sends chills down to her whole being. Her heart began to accelerate at such a rapid pace that she could hardly breathe.

Sera, already knew that she was in a big trouble.

She gathered all her courage, turned her back and face the man with pleading eyes.

"Please! Let me go, Marcus!" she begged as she tries to remove her arm from his grip, hoping that he might let go.

Anger is all over the man's face. She can't even look straight to his eyes.

Marcus, on the other hand is firmly triying to control his anger "No, Sera. You will not leave." he said.

But Sera didn't listen. She still tries to get his arm off him, but he won't let her.

"Ano ba, Marcus! Tama na! sakal na sakal na ko! Pabayaan mo na 'ko!" she feel that his grip is getting tighter and tighter.

"Ano ba, Marcus, nasasaktan ako! Bitawan mo 'ko sabi e!"

By this time, Marcus could no longer control his anger "I said no!" his hand slammed against her cheeks. The next thing he knew is that Sera was sitting on the floor holding her cheeks looking at him helpless.

He look away and instead called his butler.

"Winston!"

A man in around 50 years of age enters the room, walking towards them.

"Take Sera to her room, she needs to rest."

The old man nodded and without a word, he helps Sera to get up on her feet while Marcus walks straight to the bar across the room and sit on a high chair. He opens a bottle of brandy pour it in a glass and drink it straight in one gulp.

While heading up the stair, Sera is still looking at her husband. She don't know why he is doing all of this to her. Nothing is more important now for Sera, she will do everything she could to call for help even though she doesn't know who is behind the other line.
