Chapter 2

In Marley, young (Y/N) were getting taught by his father about the history of the world and hatred for the Eldians

Father: (Y/N) look at this okay

I look at the book and it seems to show a young woman holding an apple and a scary looking demon right next to her

(Y/N): Papa, what is this?

Father: One thousand, eight hundred and twenty years ago (Y/N), an evil hearted Eldian woman name Ymir made a contact with the devil of all Earth and obtained the power of the titans

(Y/N): wait power of the titans, the devil can do that to someone?

Father: yes and by using that power she decide to use it for evil and burn down any race that don't follow as her leader

(Y/N): that...that is scary papa

Father: yes it was but then thirteen years later, she would soon die but then her spirit would be split into nine titans

(Y/N): w-what, does that happened when we die?

Father: no son it only happened to this evil whore of destruction but then it start the dark ages

My Father turns the next page over showing me giant monsters attacking innocent people running away

Father: after the nine titan were able to form together, they decide to go after our ancestors and destroy the great nation of Marley making the new Eldian Empire

(Y/N): we had a great nation once?

Father: yes but it was all taken away by those devils and thanks to them, they rule over the continent and called other races inferior and began to oppress us

Father turns the next page showing a giant man holding a much smaller man while over men were carrying people away most of them were girls and dead bodies on the other side

Father: they stole lands and fortunes, not to mention they force other races to bear their children to increase their numbers and this has happening going on more than one thousand and seven hundred years

I could only look at the book with a feeling of burn hatred for these people, how can Marley or the world keep this people alive after all they did?

Father: we thought our lives were done but then soon after, a great warrior by the name of Helos was able to convince some Marleyans to gain their freedom and plotted to subvert Eldia and its arrogance from within

Father turns the next page showing the a bunch of giants fighting each other and arrows being shot in the sky

Father: that's when the Marleyans were able to brought the seven out of the nine titans under their control and were victorious in the end over a hundred years

(Y/N): so did we kill a lot of them?

Father: I wouldn't say a lot since most of them fled away

(Y/N): fled...fled where?

Father: on an island not far from Marley called Paradise, The Eldian King at the time erected three walls on the island taking many of his people however we were able to capture a lot of Eldians and put them behind those gates in which they would work for us and-

(Y/N): ...No...

Father: Hmm?

(Y/N): why should we let them live after everything their ancestors did to us, they deserve to die don't you think!

Father: I do think so my boy however this is the only way in order to keep us safe, if the eldians from paradise decide to start a war against we need to be ready with everything we have, do you understand?
