A Few Jokes To Brighten Your Day

So, I read my friend's story called "Punkish's Halloween Fun" again. Since it's April Fool's Day today, I thought I would make this story while coming up with classic April Fool's Day pranks. Hope you enjoy!

Today was April 1st, 2020. April Fool's Day. For pranksters, this is a day to show your stuff to your loved ones. Angelica d'Aglior [Agitation] decided she wants to brighten the mood for everyone in her family because of the stupid coronavirus going around.

Agitation: This is going to be fun!

She got out of her room and saw that the bathroom door was closed. Earlier, she rigged the water faucet. Either one of her parents, Robert or Kelsey, her roommate Stephanie Avery [Silent Voice], or her boyfriend Ciel DuBlois were in the bathroom now. She suddenly heard a scream in the bathroom. The door opened and Stephanie came out with her face all wet.

Agitation: April Fool's!

Silent Voice: Was it you that pulled that prank on me?

Agitation: Yep! I gotcha good, didn't I?

Silent Voice: Has Parry Robinson [Punkish] been teaching you a few tricks?

Agitation: Maybe.

Silent Voice: That was good.

Angelica reached for a towel.

Agitation: Here.

Stephanie cleaned her face with it.

Agitation: I'm going to go prank someone else now.

Silent Voice: Okay. Have fun. But know I'll get you back someday for this.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Robert d'Aglior was watching television. But what he didn't know was that his daughter was disguised as part of the couch. And he was sitting on her. She wrapped her arms around her dad, causing him to scream and then laugh.

Robert: Angie, is that you?

Agitation: (while taking off the costume) It's me. April Fool's.

Robert: Nice one. You got me good.

Agitation: Stacey! Bella! Want some treats???

Stacey the sheepdog and Bella the Siberian Husky heard Angelica's voice and tried to find her. But Angelica had put ceramic on the doorway. Both dogs went through the ceramic that was on the door.

Agitation: Aw! Did you get tricked?

Stacey and Bella were trying to get the ceramic off of their faces with their paws. Angie had to help them. She gave them the treats.

Agitation: April Fool's!

Stacey and Bella barked happily and ate the treats from her hands.

Meanwhile, Kelsey d'Aglior was making a cake. But she couldn't cut the cake into pieces.

Kelsey: What in the world?

She tried again, but ended up failing. She looked underneath all the frosting to find sponges.

Agitation: April Fool's, Mom!

Kelsey: So, that was you that did this? I thought it was Stephanie.

Agitation: Nope. It was all me.

Kelsey: Good one.

Agitation: There's only one person I haven't pranked yet.

Angie knew that her boyfriend Ciel was asleep in his room. This was the perfect time to prank him. She held a fake snake in her hands. She quietly opened the door to his room. She tiptoed up to his bed and put the snake next to him. She quietly walked out of the room and stood by the doorway.

Agitation: Now, for his little reaction...

She made little hissing noises like a snake. Ciel opened his eyes and turned on his lamp. It was then he saw the snake on his bed. Ciel screamed, making him swat the snake off of the bed. He then started to cough because of his earlier screaming. Angie came out, laughing.

Ciel: What...?

Agitation: April Fool's, Ciel! I gotcha good!

Ciel started to show tears in his eyes. He ran to the bathroom.

Agitation: Ciel! It was just a prank!

???: What's going on here?

Angie saw Soleil DuBlois, Ciel's twin sister's ghost come out from out of nowhere.

Agitation: Hi, Soleil. Because of the coronavirus going around, I thought it would be fun to pull pranks on everyone on April Fool's Day.

Soleil: And what did you do to my little brother?

Agitation: I put a snake on his bed...

Soleil: Angelica d'Aglior! Ciel DOES NOT like being pranked! He got pranked on by Parry last Halloween, and now you, his own girlfriend. You are not 20 years old! You are acting like an immature child!

Agitation: Hey, take it easy. It was just a joke.

Soleil picked up the fake snake on the floor.

Soleil: He's afraid of snakes. Why, Angie? He thought there was a real snake in the room.

Agitation: I forgot that he has a fear of snakes. I thought Hansel Strever [Patissier Hansel] doesn't like them?

Soleil: Angie, most of the Len modules have a fear of snakes.

Agitation: Oh. What do you want me to do?

Soleil: Apologize, duh!

Agitation: Alright.

Both girls heard another hoarse scream coming from the bathroom.

Agitation: Shit! I forgot I still rigged the sink!

She ran to the bathroom. She knocked on the door.

Agitation: Ciel, it's me. Can I come in?

Ciel opened the door. His face and part of his hair was soaking wet.

Agitation: Here. Let's wipe your face. Hold still.

She grabbed the towel and wiped his face with it.

Agitation: There. Better?

Ciel: Yeah.

Agitation: Listen, I'm really sorry about the fake snake prank.

Ciel: That was you?

Agitation: Yeah. It's April Fool's Day today, and I thought I would lift everyone's spirits a little and play a harmless prank on them. I forgot that you are scared of snakes. Can you forgive me?

Ciel: Apology accepted.

Agitation: (hugging Ciel) Thank you.

Ciel: Back in Utashinai, our neighbors would try to prank me. I always feared April Fool's Day and Halloween because of this.

Agitation: What kinds of pranks?

Ciel: Everything. Fake snakes, rigging the sink, disguising yourself as a chair or couch, you name it. They did it all.

Agitation: Oh. You got pranked on so much, and Soleil was sick of it.

Ciel nodded.

Agitation: I'll try not to prank you next year with a fake snake.

Ciel: Okay.

Agitation: Come on.

She wrapped an arm around Ciel and they both walked back to his bedroom.

Turns out there are people like Ciel that do not like to be pranked on. Happy April Fool's Day, everyone. I'll see you guys in another story!
