Chapter 17

- A WEEK LATER-

BROOKLYNS POV

Today is Friday and we have been informed by Blair, that we actually have this weekend off

Rye and Mikey are going to a family wedding up north and they are leaving tonight

Blair said for us to take a weekend off, so they would have time to get there and get back ready for our hair cut and studio, that we have scheduled for Monday

Conveniently because we have the weekend off, I decided that I would go and pay my family a visit

I miss my family a lot and I think I deserve to spend some time with them

It's currently around 9:30pm at night and Mikey and Rye are getting ready to leave the flat to set off

I can't recall where exactly they are going but it's somewhere in Harrogate and Mikey said it was going to be about a 4 hour journey

"Right Rye have you got everything?" Mikey ask as he puts the last few things in his backpack

Rye chuckles as he pulls his backpack straps onto his shoulders

"Yes, can we go now?" he questions

"Alright let's go, walk down with me baby?" Mikey says to Jack as he interwinds their hands together

Jack hums as they both walk out of the living room before exiting the flat

Rye shouts a bye to us before he leaves the flat behind Mikey and Jack

As a moment of silences falls on the flat, I remember that I left some of my washing in Rye's room when I was getting dressed the other morning

I put my phone down and I get off my bed, before I walk into Rye's room

I open the door to see a blue suit in an open cover bag, hanging from the open bathroom door

"Shit" I mumble to myself

I quickly zip the bag up and I reach up onto my tip toes to unhook the bag from the door

Once the bag is free from the door, I am quick to leave the flat and make my way down to the entrance of the building

Once I reach the front door, I swing it open and run towards the car park

When I turn the corner, I see Rye putting his final bag in the car and Jack and Mikey hugging

"RYE WAIT, YOU FORGOT YOUR SUIT!" I shout as I run over to them

Rye lets out a sigh in relief when I reach him

"You angel! Your a life saver!" He says as he takes the bag from my hands, before laying it in the boot of the car

"I did ask you, if you had everything" Mikey says as he cuddles Jack closer to him

You can tell that those two are going to miss each other a lot

"Oh shut up you!" Rye says as he shuts the boot

He walks over to me and wraps his arms around me

"Thank you for bringing my suit to me, I would of been screwed without it!" Rye mumbles to me

I hug him back and I smile into his shoulder

Rye pulls away from me, before quickly leaning forward and pressing a light kiss to my forehead

My body freezes as he pulls away from me

Why did he do that?

"Rye are you ready to go?" Mikey calls out before I hear a car open
