Chapter 18: Where's My Hair Gel?
(NIALLS POV)
I was nearly shaking with nerves. I had never really taken a girl out properly for a long while...I hadn't had a girlfriend for years.
"Just do it, Niall. It's going to be totally fine." I spoke out loud to myself, determined not to let my nerves get a hold on me. Raising my fist to the door of the crew tour bus, I knocked. Almost instantly the door was swung open by Kass.
"Be prepared to be amazed." She stated simply before dramatically stepping aside and waving her hands fancily at a figure behind her. My jaw dropped. Was this really Rocky? She was wearing a beautiful figure-hugging dress that my mind wander to not-so-innocent places. To describe her perfectly, I'd have to call her beyond beautiful.
"Pick your jaw up, Niall, and take her out already!" Kass laughed. A blush spread over my cheeks as I held out my hand toward Rocky. Smiling, she grabbed it and we exited the bus.
"So, where are we going?" Rocky asked excitedly. Her excitement boosted my confidence a bit.
"It's a surprise." I grinned. Rocky made a face, causing me to laugh.
"Surprises...meh." She joked, her funny expression egging my laughter on. Finally, we approached my car. Actually, it was Harry's Range Rover since I didn't have my car with me at the moment. The Range Rover was Hardly the fanciest car, but it was all I had. We climbed in and I started the engine.
"Can you drive?" Rocky questioned. I gave her a look.
"Would I have driven us to a date if I didn't?" I questioned. Rocky thought for a second before nodding.
"Uh, yeah you would." She pointed out. I laughed.
"true." I nodded.
"But don't worry, I have my license now." I told her. Pressing my foot onto the gas pedal, I started to drive.
