Soon Andrew returned to the group- with a brief case and a set of keys that rattled with every step he took - he was headed for the portion of the room that looked like it belonged to an office block and was locked by a glass door. When the older man had reached the door, he put his key into the lock as he turned it and awaited a satisfying click, gently pushing the door open and turning to face everyone with a tired-out expression.
"Why don't you all take a seat?"
He asked, as he glided over to the chair at the end of the table- it was by far the biggest and demonstrated his status from the teens, an ambitious statement to say the least- situated in front of him was a piece of paper that was folded upwards so that the whole room to see, it read 'Mr. Andrew Greystone.' In bold capitals - and under it in smaller italics was, 'the general director of the LoH.' The chairs were lined up for all the teens as one by one they found the places with their names in front and took a seat.
"Everyone, if you could look at your name tags, you'd notice under your name is a definable role- either fighter or scouter. Now, you may be wondering- what is a fighter? What is a scouter? Some of you may have figured it out- seeing as your all unaffiliated with any heroism labels after the spike in crime rate has appeared the government put Mr. Raymond and I - Mr. Greystone, to keep you all on a short leash seeing as you all are currently doing illegal work - so out of the charitableness of the government- they have decided to let you stay heroes as long as you stay with the LoH." Andrew paused, blinking as his eyes surveyed the crowd gently almost as he was reading them- like an open book.
"But back to the main point- you are either a fighter or a scouter- let's start by explaining what a fighter is and how you will play to your role accordingly." He cleared his throat. "Fighters are the people like the avengers- they are the ones to be out on the front line doing all the fighting or all the work on the field. You will be the most known out of all the heroes. When you are a fighter you are the most likely to get hurt- so bare in mind that we have chosen you after weeks- if not a month or two of carefully examining your ability and skill set." He hummed, before continuing on. "Now- if you are a scouter, you are mainly support based- you are strategic and/or agile you will mainly be on the sidelines keeping civilians and landscape safe and you will fight if the fighters need help. Though, as I know for certain situations to do with people and their health - some will never see the frontline and will be doing work at the headquarters- this person knows who they are." He paused to let all the new information sink in.
"Seeing as all of you arrived I'm sure you know what will happen if you refuse the job." Blake spoke up - his eyes less than agile as they shot across the crowd of people. Silence filled the room. "Good." He nodded to confirm his ideas- and turned his head slightly back to Andrew- who had now placed the briefcase on the table opening it and handling files carefully as he went down the line handing people their files with their names on the front and a red ink title that cleared the files as classified. "This is your personal hero information and your Lanyard and card to access the headquarters when you have not been in a fight. Share these with anyone whom is not apart of the group they and yourself will be terminated along with all your existing attachments, like your birth certificate- for security measures." Andrew smiled coldly at the now ever pale group.
"Every week there will be a meeting on Friday after school- this week will be an exception." He said and closed his briefcase swiftly and tugging it off the table. "You are all dismissed." He said, as the teens filed out.
