2021, NsNs laboratory. 3Am.

44 year old head scientist Kai - Derek is reading the statistics of Enigma-17 on his dual computer monitors while drinking a glass of straight whiskey. The office is small and has awards and pictures of him and his family and wife.

Kai has thick curly hair and a fresh shave his eyes are brown and wears rectangle glasses for reading. Kai saw a new update in The World Health Organisation.

Kai clicked on the alert and with no hesitation reads the headline "millions dead and no cure and no way out"

Kai was scanning the article for any key plot points. Kai's heart raced with fear and anxiety. Photos. Pictures and videos. Kai watched with an all out racing heart.

Pictures of those laid to rest, people dying. Thousands of online Videos of those who have Witnessed the flesh eating mutants. Kai was in tremendous fear so he finished his glass of whiskey and bowed his head in sadness and in defeat.

His door leading to his office had a subtle knock. Mai ignored it. It knocked again the handle slowly turned but the door was shut. Kai looked to his draw and opened it slowly. Tears began to stream down his face. Kai slid the draw out and saw the pistol.

Kai gently pulled it out and with fear and anxiety Kai loaded it with great sadness almost bursting into tears.

The door began to violently shake and tumble. The handle rattling violently. Kai held himself together and loaded the pistol and put it on the table.

Kai took a deep breath and pushed a a button under his desk. The door stopped shaking and opened slowly. A man with a clipboard walked in the man was a scientist.

Kai held himself together. "Kai?" Asked the man. "Yes, what's up mate?" The man nodded and walked over and gently handed the clipboard to Kai. Kai held the clipboard and read it thoroughly and handed it back to the man.

"Kai?" Asked the man

"Subject N403 to be eradicated."

"Affirmative"

"Now go"

The man walked out and closed the door as he left. Kai stood up and went to his alcohol cabinet and got more alcohol and sat down.

The door knocked again and then opened. Kai looked at the door as he was pouring the drink and saw a tall skinny thin man walk in.

"Can I help you?" Asked Kai, The man was holding a biohazard case.

"Kai - Derek I'm presuming?"

"Yes" Kai finished pouring his drink and walked to his pistol on the table.

"Please. I don't mean to intrude"

"Well, You kind of did. So I'm going to have to ask you to state your purpose"

"My name is Dr. Sarn Yuri, but you can call me Bill"

"Bill?"

Dr. Sarn walked to the chair in front of Kai's desk and sat at it. Kai sat back down and started to drink his whiskey.

"So. Let's talk." Said Dr. Sarn

"Sure"

"So, in my biohazard case I have the cure"
