Just the Usual

"Yo Y/n can you pass me the blow torch."

"Yeah,"

It was a another typical day on the job in Purjus, Sweden. Cold.

Usually for a ATPM's(Anti Terrorism Private Military) we were working are asses of in the cold.

"Damn I have patrol tomorrow,"

"Well DeShawn I have Patrol today," I say with frustration in my voice.

"are you going to take out the snowmobile or is it going to be on foot," Deshawn said while tightening the bolts on the new snow vehicle project.

"Well it's not really a patrol,"
"were just gathering research to the south of Kiruna and west of Gällivare," I said puting my tools back into my tool box.

"Oh"
"Well... have fun," DeShawn said while I left the room.

I walked down the hallway until I got to the armory. I pulled out my key card and slid it through the panel granting me access to the armory. I then walked in with the rest of my four man Fireteam.

"Alright team grab your rifles,"
"And NO scopes we don't need anyone seeing us at the rally point," I ordered.

I was accompanied by the best that the lieutenant would allow me to have. LCpl Smith who is the Fireteam Corman(medic), PFC Johnson who is the Squad Machine gun, and Cpl Grigs the Fireteam marksman.

I grabbed my Ithaca Slam Fire Shotgun and holstered my Glock 18 and grabbed a few extra Magazines. I then heard the door open from behind me to fined Sergant Major Kevin and some one else come in with him.

"Sergant,"
"I'll have this man accompany you on this expedition,"
"That will be all,"

Kevin then walked out leaving us with the new guy. Him and I stared at each other for a little while untill I broke the silence.

"What's your name soldier,"

"My call sign is Buck," he said in a Canadian accent

He was of average height and wore White clothing, I could also see a JTF2 patch. He carried a Colt C7 Assault Rifle and had a under-barrel shotgun attachment.

"All right Fireteam let's move,"
"Also buck did Kevin brief you on the mission," I said turning to him.

"No," he responded.

"I'll debrief you on the way," I said walking towards the vehicle bay.

When we arrived I told my men to hop into the Bandvagn 206 the Armored Infantry Snow Vehicle. We would be riding in a convoy with my Bandvagn 206 and a RaBv 2061 to radio in for emergencies or to check in.

"Alright this is the plan,"
"Were going to scout a small community that intel states that there could be a possibility that this settlement is occupied by the White Masks,"
"Even though they were thought to be wiped out we need confirm it,"
"This is for reconnaissance only,"
"Understud."

"Yes sergeant," they responded as we hopped out of the vehicle.

We approached the settlement from the South side. And lying on a ridge facing the camp. I pulled out my Binoculars and scouted the camp. What I found was overwhelming. I found at least 12 White Masks outside and counted 4 executed civilians.

"Johnson go to the RaBv and tell command that we have confirmed White Mask Members and 4 Civilians KIA," I told him.

Time Skip 4 minutes-----

"Sergeant command told us to engage,"

"Ok buck you role with me and we will infiltrate from the east while Johnson lays down a suppressive fire from this position,"
"And Griggs I want you to stay with Johnson,"
"We'll wait for you to take the shot.

Me and buck crawled to a small compound and we were ready to breach the door.

"Were in position," I said over the coms.

3..2..1..Breach!

Buck shot the hinges of the door and kicked it open. Stepping aside I moved passed buck shotgun raised down the hall I took out one and buck shot the other.

"Buck cover me," I said setting the C4.

After placing the charges we cleared the rest of the building and placed the rest of the charges and made Are way out the building and started heading towards the rest of the fireteam.

Once we were out in the open I waved at Johnson signaling that it was over. I was happy that the war with the White masks were over. I started walking towards them only to have bullets riddle past me. I turn around to see buck holding his stomach and falling to the floor.

"NO!," I yelled furious racking my shotgun and pulling the trigger only to see Grigs gitting filled with buckshot.

My own Fireteam fired upon me.

I Racked another shell into the chamber and shot Johnson. I dropped my gun and rushed over to Buck.

"Hey Buck you okay," I say crouching down next to him.

"Yeah.... I will be just... take this and shoot it," he said and handed me the object.

He handed me a flare gun. I aimed and shot it in the air watching the clouds above turn red.

After I shot off the flare, more ATPM soldiers were trying to gun me down. So I grabbed a hold of Buck and drew my side arm and started firing on the enemy. I pulled buck through the door and onto the seconed floor, it was hard but I managed to get Buck up the stairs.

"Buck take this," I said and handing him my side arm.

I searched the room and I found a dead white mask that had DP-28.

"I see there not well equipped," I said grabbing the lmg. I set the gun's bipod up on a few crates and I racked it to make sure there was a bullet in the chamber. "Now the waiting game comenses," I thought. I began to hear footstep next to the door and some small arms fire happening outside the building.

The first squad entered the room and I filled them full of 7.62. Then nothing, complete silence. It was quiet. To quiet...

"Hey," I heard from behind me.

As I turned around all I saw was a women with facepaint on hit me upside the head with her pistol. I then fell to the floor unconscious.
