Today at school I was gonna get a special award and its my birthday this morning my family before going to school they got a small cake and sang happy birthday to me and then I ate the cake Well duh perfect and I am super excited because of my award I will get and I just can't wait but sadly I do have to wait its at the end of the day and right now I'm barely at 5 period.you might say well hey just 6 and 7 period yeah but ugh those periods are so boring."Emily." "huh" "what's number 8" "oh um that is 4to the 3rd power" "correct!" then the bell rings and we all leave the class "you weren't paying attention in class today"emma said "oh Yeah I'm just well happy" "why?" "I don't know" "just because" "crazy" she says. Then we enter English class oh boring I think in my head boring when out of nowhere the teacher says"Emily Are you paying attention at all" "ye..."I was cut off by sirens being turned on usually in New York that means well either earthquake or hurricane "get up class quietly" the teacher said and we all walked out of the classroom. I stood by Emma "what's happening?" "probably a drill." I said "oh yeah huh I think it is" we all went onto the field me and Emma saw the teachers speak to the principle "they look scared" Kayla said "oh hey Kayla" Emma said "I don't think thier scared we'll maybe" I said unsure "do you think this is still a drill or is it for real?" emma asked how "would I know" I said then the principle spoke "please get in line and be quite we are getting everything situated. Please do not" she stoped because we heard people screaming.we all looked behind us and saw something big ing the air it raised higher than the skyscrapers it was a wave. people screamed as they ran ''what is that?" Emma said "tsunami" Kayla answered "tsunami what?" I said "that can't happen here" "Tsunami" kids started to scream and we all ran sirens sounded the emergency light was flashing people were running me ,Emma ,and Kayla stood there looking before we saw the wave lowering it was about to hit. "run!" emma said and grabbed me and Kayla "we have to run!" and we ran and ran I turned around and saw that it hit the ground and started to take out trees and houses and people it was coming it was coming towards us. "run! run! run!" Kayla said we all ran I could tell emma was starting to get tired "run emma keep running" I told her but she just stoped to breath "just wait" she panted "Emma!" Kayla screamed then grabbed my arm and pulled me away. I saw as emma kept getting pushed around by the other people trying to run away she looked at me. "run!" I said she slowly turned around and saw water crashing into the cars coming towards her. "Kayla wait emma" I said "we can't we" she looked at Emma and so did I the water came closer until I hit her and she disappeared "run!" Kayla yelled at me and we ran people were hit by the wave and I grabbed kayaks hand "we have to stay together" "okay" she said and we ran and ran I got tired and Kayla pulled me "come on" she said I could hear people scream as they disappeared into the rushing water. I then noticed Kayla and me were behind everyone they were to fast and we would be left behind. "Kayla we're" I felt the sprinkle of the water as it forcefully hit my body "Kayla!" I screamed "ahh!" she screamed.I felt as the cold blue dark water covered my face... I couldn't see anymore... I couldn't breath... I was now lost lost in the water. I didn't let go of kaylas hand we had to stay together and my eyes closed and it was dark Realy dark.
