The door swung open to an empty foyer. Well empty of anything eye catching. I threw my keys in the bowl and tucked my shoes in the closet with my coat. As I shut the closet door, a firm push sent me flat against the front door, pushing it all the way shut with a clean click.
My eyes, vulnerable with surprise, fell into her hazel traps. I let out a weak gasp. She had both hands on either side of my head, her face dangerously close to mine.
