I never thought of my boyfriend Jonathon as abusive, or toxic. He was my first boyfriend so I just assumed all guys were attached to girls and went a little crazy when they didn't stay around. I met Jonathon at the park while he was playing basketball and he asked for my number. He texted me and called me all the time. I was a little confused but again he was my first boyfriend.

I moved in with my friend Sarah because she was going through a hard time. Her father had just died and her cat had to be put down. She was very unstable so I moved in to help her and keep her safe. However she lived in Canada and I lived in the U.S so it took a lot of convincing Jonathon about moving. He had lost of friends and family in the U.S so we decided that he would stay and I would go.

Every other week I would receive letter from Jonathon in the mail. At first they were cute but after while they became... strange to say the least.
