"What do you think?" Ro turned and asked me cutting off the music

"I think... I love it!!" We both squealed

"JC always does a good job but you know sometimes I gotta have somebody else opinion" she flipped her hair

We been sitting in the studio all day and it's Saturday

"Wanna go to the trap?" I asked drinking some soda

"Yeah why not.. Just lemme go get JC so he can finish on the bridges" she left out the door. I started getting my stuff together then my phone rang.

It was Stacks.

"What are you and Ro doing?" He laughed a little, must be high or something

"Um nothing finishing up at the studio about to head over to the trap. Why?" I stood around the room

"Cause I'm having a party and I want you to bring her"

"Ok I'll ask her what she doing tonight and get back with you"

"Ighht" and with that he hung up

"Stooppp JC" Ro exclaimed walking in the room

"But whhyyy" JC mocked her voice and poked her side

"Sorry to interrupt you two but stacks just invited us to a party so can we hurry this up" I said growing impatient

"Ohh your not interupting anything. JC is everything done?" She turned to him

"You know it is but can I come?" They both looked at me

"I mean I guess so..." I shrugged my shoulders

"Great let's go then" Ro grabbed my hand

"See ya later JC" we both turned around and waved

"Ighht bet" he bit his lip and turned around back to the sound board

We hoped in my car and began our drive to the trap

"What's up with you and JC?" I questioned

"Girl nothing he fine and everything but he got a girlfriend he just don't act like it when I'm around" she laughed looking at the road and back at her phone

"Um ok" I said wiggling my eyebrows and we busted out laughing getting out the car

"What is so funny" Blue came up and kissed me

"Nothing babe a little inside joke" I looked at Ro and we laughed a little

"Ro are you prepared to start your gun shooting on Monday" he looked over at her

"Um. of course!"

"Looks like you moving quicker than most of these lames around here" all the boys did a fake laugh as we walked into Stacks office

"Ladies. Blue. Wassup with y'all?" He gave Blue dap. Me a hug and Ro a kiss on the hand.

"Nothing just stopping by then getting ready for your party" I spoke and he nodded

"Hey stacks is it ok that my mix tape producer comes thru" Ro asked in a really sweet voice

"Of course Ma as long as he don't get all your attention" Stacks did his signature smile on her

Ro started smiling and looking down and the room fell silent

Blue cleared his throat "Um Candiey don't you wanna go and like see something" he turned to me and started winking. Signaling we should leave Ro and Stacks alone.

"Uh yeah"I looked at Ro and smirked then left

Ro POV

"Why you look down every time I say something sweet" he asked leaning back in his chair

"Um ion know" I shrugged still looking down

"You know I want you"

"I think you made that clear on the first day we met" I said looking up

"Well lemme make it crystal. I want you. Be my girl, you will never have to work for nothing. You don't have to trap. Your  mixtape will be out on the streets already. You'll be having tons of labels calling you asking for you to sign and much more, be mine?" He sat up in his chair

"As wonderful as that sounds that's never going to happen. I like to work for the things I have. Ion want nobody to ever say you got this because of me. so thanks but no thanks" I got up and his smile drop

"Where you going?"

"Home. Gotta get ready for the party.. Remember?" I grabbed my purse and keys out the storage

"Ighht. Either way your going to be mine" he stood up opening the door for me

"Whatever you say Stacks"

I got in my car and drove to my new condo. I can afford it now. As I walked onto my house I received a call from a unknown number. I answered it cause I was curious

"Hello is this Rosanne" the lady asked me

"Yeah this is her" I closed my door behind me

"This is your Mom baby. I know I haven't been the best mother but I'm in rehab. I entered myself in a week after I kicked you out. I apologize for putting you through all this pain and I would like to make amends with you. I know our relationship will never be the same but I just wanna be here for you from here on out. Healthy and off drugs"

A tear rolled down my check and I wipped it off

"I forgive you mom but I have to go. Please text me your rehab address so I can visit you"

"Ok baby I love you" she sniffed

"Love you too" then I hung up
