- A few weeks later.
Christian -
It had been a few weeks and I hadn't heard from Amber. I've been calling her, FaceTiming her and she's been ignoring me.
I know she has because she posted a video of her singing one night and I liked it and commented it but she blocked me. I made a fake account and I've been lurking. I thought maybe she just needed some space, but she even blocked me on Facebook and Snapchat.
I understood that she didn't like my decision but damn was she really canceling me out her life? I needed to talk to her, I wanted to see her. To go from talking to somebody everyday to not seeing them or hearing from them in a weeks time was madness. I needed to know where we stood, was she still my friend?
My mother told me a lot of people wouldn't approve of this new decision of mine, some of them I would have to just let go others I'd have to fight for. I didn't know if she seeing the future but I was willing to fight for me and Amber's friendship I didn't want to lose her. I wanted her to remain in my life.
Once I got done with a meeting I went to Jewel's Osco and picked out a dozen of roses, I went home to my new house.
It was so much better than my old cramped apartment. I was still living alone, my pops was rushing this wedding but I drew up a contract telling him that things were going to go my way.
At least give me a chance to know the young lady. I wasn't going to let her move in just yet. One thing about it I loved my personal space. I didn't just let people into my aura, I wasn't letting bad energies mess with my energy.
I smiled as I looked around in my new living room. The decorator my father hired had really did an outstanding job. I walked over to my mini bar and grabbed myself a club soda. After gulping it down I went upstairs to shower and change into something more comfortable. After grabbing a bottle of water, I grabbed the flowers and made my way to Amber's office.

I found a park and locked my cars, and walked into the small office building. I pressed the button for the third floor and after getting off I was greeted with Amber's assistant Samantha.
"Hey Chris," she said smiling.
"Hey Sam I uh came to see Amber," I say looking towards her office. Her door was closed but I saw her at her desk through the glass doors. She was chewing her gum, standing up with her back turned as she read something in a folder.
Samantha signaled for me to come here with her two fingers. "What's up," I whispered.
"She said if you called not to answer. I don't know how she's feeling but for the past couple weeks she been so emotional. One minute she's angry the next she's crying, I don't know what's going on with her," she whispers back.
"Alright imma just walk past imma talk to her," I say.
"She's gonna kill me but okay,"
"I'll make sure she goes easy on you," I laugh.
She laughs and I walk past the desk going to the office. I walked right through the door.
"Ugh this has to be right I wrote the whole proposal three times," she said as she flipped through the pages.
I cleared my throat and she turned around jumping like she saw a ghost. "I'm going to kill Samantha," she mumbles.
