"There!" I shouted with a satisfied smile gracing my paint stained face as I put my paintbrush back into the cup of dirty paint water.

I had just finished my first ever painting on a canvas, after I was oh-so-inspired by all the creations of other artists on Tumblr.

After gently placing the painting of a peaceful scenery onto another table so the paint could sit and dry, I sighed in contentment. 'What else shall I do today?' I thought to myself. Both my parents were out working until 10pm. My mother works in our family bakery, while my dad is a teacher in an elementary school. Today was such a slow day with the clock ticking away annoyingly. It read : '3.26pm'. I still had a long and uneventful day ahead. A sigh escaped my lips as I grabbed my iphone 5s from the table and walked into the kitchen. I'm going to make myself a snack.

"Hmmmm, what should I whip up this time." I lazily scanned the kitchen counters and pantries on the hunt for something edible.

To my liking I found a box of mac and cheese, all I had to do was boil the macaroni and mix in the cheese. Sounds easy enough, right? Despite having a talented baker for a mother, I sadly inherited zero skills in the kitchen department.

One time, I burnt my garlic bread because I toasted it a little too long. (A/N: This actually happened) As the water for the macaroni was boiling, I decided to blast some music just for the heck of it. I logged into my 8tracks account and clicked on a throwback playlist. (A/N : i've been addicted to these mixtapes for days.)

I swayed my hips and did the Macarena to Toxic by Britney Spears, followed by some Hannah Montana songs. I probably shouldn't be 'dancing' in the kitchen with a boiling pot of water next to me. After showing off my cool and groovy moves to no one but the boiling water, I decided it was time for the macaroni to take the dive.

Halfway through the bag of macaroni, Valvet, my teacup pomeranian, appeared of out nowhere and barked at my feet, apparently thinking I was preparing her dog food. The sudden shock caused me to tip the whole pack of macaroni into the pot. "Well damn Val look at what you did." I said with a stern look, trying to guilt the puppy into behaving, but of course she couldn't understand me so she just barked once more and ran out of the kitchen. My facial expression softened and my lips curved into a fond smile.

I diverted my attention back to my food and noticed some pasta had spilled onto the counter as well as drips of boiling water that catapulted out of the pot from the impact of the macaroni. So now, I had a whole pot filled with macaroni that could serve up to 3 people. Well damn.
