A Monstrous Nightmare is the most terrified breed of dragon on Berk. It's one of the most aggressive, powerful , and stubborn breeds. It is well known by it's unique ability to cover itself with Fire! It's wide jaws can eat a whole viking in one bite! In times the nightmare spits Lava instead of fire. It's cranky when it's hungry so give the right amount of fish all the time. It may go crazy in some ocasions like when it's tooth is full on bacterias like Hookfang. A nightmare has sharp tooth that can crush bones of animals especially vikings. It's hard shells is oily and anytime it can light on it's flame. When flying and it's flame lights sometimes may be trouble to vikings down near of danger to its flames! In battle in can light up his flame and burst a huge fireball to its enemy. As I told you before it's aggressive it packs a lot of punch! So in training this Hothead you must show respect! A gentle hand on it's snout is showing trust. It may be hard to train but its worhet to train one! The Nightmare is a Scarce! If you train one all your friends will make their jaws drop!

Hookfang is an aggressive nightmare protective to it's trainer Snoutlout. He is always stubborn to Snoutlout and bites him everyday. His uniquely trained to the exact opposite of whatever Snoutlout says but they still make a great team. Hookfang may be stubborn to Snoutlout but when other people comes to the scenario Hookfang stays good to them.
