Authors note:

Hey guys! How was everyone's Halloween? :3

I hope anyone who was in hurricane Sandy's path stayed safe, and no one was hurt. I lost power for a while, but that was all.

Ive decided to start posting more frequently, every Friday. I'm still getting the hang of writing fan fiction (normally I just do fiction) so I apologize if my chapters are short >.< )

Read, comment, and vote! thanks (:

Riley's Pov

"Nothing, its all for me!" Louis yelled, lunging for me. I shrieked, and tried to move, but he was too fast. Before I knew it, he was on top of me.

I looked up at his face, noting that he had green eyes that sparkled. He grinned down at me, sticking his tounge out. I giggled, not knowing what else to do. Louis fluttered his eyes shut, and began to lean down, closer to my face.

Needless to say, I knew what was going to happen.

So instead of letting this move on, I pushed on his chest and rolling from underneath him. He landed with a thud on the grass, where I just was. I burst out laughing, I couldn't help it.

Louis sat up, confused. "Oy! What happened there?"

Niall, who was observing from under the tree began laughing. His laugh was cute.

Louis pouted and went back to grab some Oreos out of the picnic basket. He shoved a few into his mouth and began walking down the trail to the lake, away from us.

I looked up at Niall. "Should I..?"

His eyes met mine. He smiled, but I could tell he was a little worried. "I guess, I'm sure he'll be fine though. He can be a drama queen."

I groaned, and got up. I  threw my hair up into a pony tail and hiked up my pants. After grabbing some cookies, I started after Louis. After a few minutes of walking, I found him sitting on a bench looking over the water. I slowly walked up and sat down next to him.

"Hey," I mumbled.

He smiled and looked over at me. "Gonna share those cookies?"

I handed him one, and our hands brushed. I coughed, feeling awkward. Its not that I've never held hands with a boy or anything. I've had boyfriends before... its just, all those relationships ended badly. It was hard to trust anyone anymore.

"Quack!" Louis shouted, startling me. I looked up, and saw him trying to talk to a duck. I rolled my eyes.

"I think his name is David," I said, pointing to the duck. Louis looked up at me and grinned. I grinned back, thinking maybe Louis forgot about the close kiss earlier.

"Hey, Louis? I'm sorry about what happened earlier..." I said quietly, hoping he wouldn't hear me. He was busy quacking anyways. To my surprise, he looked over to me and smiled sadly.

"Its alright, it was my fault. I know you don't really like us... I was just caught up in the moment."

"Hey, I like you guys! Well, I mean, I've barely met you all and I don't really know you well, but you guys are cooler than I originally thought." I started to feel bad.

Louis walked up to me and smiled. "Thanks, it means a lot." Thats all he said, but I could tell he wanted to say more. And I wanted to hear it, but he started running back to our picnic site yelling "LAST ONE TO NIALL IS A ROTTEN EGG!"

I rolled my eyes and chased after him.
