Y/n's POV

The phone rang  just before the end of my work day and I sighed. I got up from my desk and picked up the old phone on Deku's desk.

"IT, how can we help?" I said into the phone, then listened to the ramblings of one of the office workers on the floors above me, "Mhmm. I see. Have you tried turning it off and on? Ok, try that for now."

I put the phone down and sat down on Deku's chair.

"Stupid Deku, having the day off..." I said to myself then back to my own desk.

As I was about to log off for the day, an email popped up in the corner of my screen. I opened it, read over it and let my head fall onto the desk.

'Send Izuku to my office please. He is not responding to his email.'

The email was from Kyoka Jirou. The boss of the company I worked at. I sent a quick reply to her saying Deku, or Izuku, wasn't here today.

Then I stood up, put my laptop in my laptop bag, and walked to the elevator. The elevator finally showed up and I stepped inside. No one else was on there of course, this elevator didn't go to the underground parking, so the lowest level for it was the IT department.

On my way to the top level, a few other employees got on the elevator with me, then got off. I finally arrived at my floor and stepped off.

"Ah, finally here Y/n." A blond with a black streak in his hair said as I walk up to his receptionist desk, "Took you long enough."

"Oh shut up." I said grumpily.

"Aw, why the mood?" He asked, knowing the reason.

I scrunched up my nose, "I hate dealing with her, y'know. Stupid Deku."

"Give him a break, Shoto just got back from shooting that movie." Denki said, "Those poor lovebirds were probably lost without each other. And just think, tomorrow's the weekend."

"I gotta look for th silver lining I guess." I sighed, "Can I go in yet?"

Denki typed something on his computer and looked back at me, "Yep, she's all ready for you."

I opened the tall, black door with the smallest slit for a window. Sitting in an overly modernised widow office was Kyoka Jirou. She was standing looking out the window over the bustling city. She turned and faced me, looking me up and down.

"Thank you for coming, Y/n." She said and sat at her desk.

"Of course, Miss Jirou." I said and walked up to her desk, "What is it you needed?"

"I need you to set something up for me." She said then continued to explain my task.

Kyoka had to go on a business trip in 2 weeks that would last 4 days, and the company had given her two tickets, the other ment for her partner. Unfortunately, she was single, but didn't want to waste the other ticket, so she wanted to set up a sort of raffle for the spare ticket. But she also wanted to not use paper and needed it set up electronically.

"Yeah, I can do that." I said, "But my day's almost over, so Izuku and I will start it on Monday. You can-"

"It would be best if you set it up now, or over the weekend." She interrupted, "I'd like it to be ready by Monday. Thank you, you my leave."

I smiled politely and left. Once outside the room, I let the smile fall off my face.

"How'd it go?" Denki asked.

"Wanna grab a drink later?" I asked.

"That bad, hey?" Denki laughed, "I'll meet you in the parking lot in 10, wait by my car."

I got into the elevator that went to the underground parking lot and sighed again. Stupid Deku making me deal with Kyoka. I got out my phone and complained to a certain green haired friend.

Deku

I hate u so much -.-<

>???
>I wasn't even at work to do anything for you to hate me TT°TT

Because u weren't here I had to see a certain someone who just made my day<

>she's not that bad,,,

I have work to do over the weekend! It's like getting assigned homework in high school!<

>a lot of people work over the weekend tho,,,

I chose this job so I wouldn't have too<

>I'm sorry!! Really!!

=_=<

Kyoka's POV

The door closed behind Y/n and I sighed loudly. I slumped back in my chair and unbuttoned the top of my shirt a bit. I grabbed my earphones stuffed into a drawer and plugged them into my laptop, opening Spotify. I put on my playlist and felt a wave of peace flow over me.

There was a knock at the door, "It's Denki."

"Come in." I said, pausing my music.

"Sorry to disrupt you, but here's the reports you wanted." He said and handed me a file.

"Thanks," I said and placed the file on top of my keyboard to look at after, "...You want to say something else, right?"

"Well... Don't you think you could be a bit nicer to Y/n?" He said and I scoffed.

"And why would I do that?"

"You two have a lot in common you know. Y/n likes to mellow out to music like you do, and she doesn't mind a drink or two, and-"

"So what if we have a few things in common?" I said, "Why would that matter?"

"Come on, you need more friends than just me." Denki said leaning on my desk, "You need someone you can hang out with on weekends or after work, y'know."

"I'm fine on my own, idiot, and when did I say we were friends anyway." I said getting frustrated with my useless assistant.

"Aw, come on." He said with a smile, "Anyway, I've gotta go now. See ya Monday."

I didn't say anything and let Denki leave.
