3:15pm

The sound of the bell ringing pierced crisply through the quiet room, noise and chatter quickly filling the room. Class had come to an end for the day, much to the delight of some of the students. For reasons unbeknownst to them, Aizawa had been excessively hard in them today, seeming to lose his patience a lot quicker too. What startled the kids more was the fact that not once had Aizawa taken a nap as he usually did either.

What was wrong with Aizawa today?

Aizawa watched his students filter out of the classroom, but one could tell he wasn't completely there. Something was eating at the pro hero. As his students would wish him a good day, he'd snap away from his thoughts momentarily and give them a simple nod in acknowledgment before he went back to his thought. He was tense too which wasn't a good thing as it normally signified his intuition was telling him something was wrong.

"Eraser?" Hizashi called out as he knocked on the door, frowning a bit at how quickly the male went on guard until he noticed who it was. "Hey, I thought I'd come to check on you."

"I'm fine, Mic," Aizawa replied, glancing at the papers he knew he'd need to grade later today as he didn't want to make eye contact with the other.

Hizashi only sighed at the statement as he had known Aizawa for far too long to know exactly when he was lying. Going over to the other, Aizawa watched as Hizashi went behind him. He had momentarily become more tense when Hizashi put his hands on Aizawa's shoulders but relaxed as the blond began to massage his shoulders to try to get him to calm down. Aizawa let out a soft sigh as he let Hizashi do this, listening to the other as he spoke once again.

"Shota, you know I can tell when you're lying," Hizashi pointed out, though amusement seemed to lace his words. "Now come on, penny for your thoughts! What is eraserhead thinking?"

"...I'm thinking about what today is and what the outcomes could be."

This made the usually bubbly pro hero halt all his actions. He had almost completely forgotten what today was. It made much more sense now that Aizawa was so tensed up. Hizashi himself had to stop from tensing up as he shook his head and smiled softly again. His main priority was to calm Aizawa down and that's what he planned to do.

"Hey now, don't be so negative, Eraser! I'm sure today will be fine! UA has the best security! You've worked here for a while now, you should know," Hizashi joked but he didn't wait for a reply before he continued. "Besides, this is the first annual one! It can't be that bad, right?"

"Do you remember what America became? I don't even know why we're following in their footsteps," Aizawa says but was less tense thanks to Hizashi's help. "Nonetheless, I'm worried. The villains have breached our security before."

"Shota, relax! It won't happen again, alright? Besides, that was at the USJ. We have more security here!" The loud blond pointed out with one of his signature grins, it only widening as he felt Aizawa finally begin to relax.

"Right. I'll keep that in the back of my mind. I'll still be preparing for anything though," Aizawa replied stubbornly, much to Hizashi's amusement.

"Everything is going to be alright, Shota! Promise!"

"...Swear on your life, Hizashi?"

"I swear on my life!"

Aizawa seemed satisfied with this but didn't get a chance to speak again before Hizashi planted a quick yet loving kiss on Aizawa's lips with a grin. The ravenette had been happy to return the quick peck before he turned his attention to his work.

"Alright Zashi, I've got paperwork I need to finish. I'll see you later tonight," Aizawa said as his lover pouted a bit but complied as he let go of Aizawa's shoulders that he had been massaging.

"Remember not to be here for too long! Might just have to drag you back to our room," The blond pro hero joked, placing a kiss on Aizawa's cheek before he left the room, leaving the other pro hero to his work.

3:30pm

"I'm telling you, something was totally up with Aizawa Sensei today! He was really on edge, don't you think?" Kaminari questioned as he and the rest of Bakusquad made their way to the dormitories.

"Yeah, he seemed super tense today! Wonder why," Mina chimed in with a small hum in thought.

"Did you idiots seriously forget what the hell is supposed to be happening?" Bakugou hissed, causing the rest of the group to tense up as if quickly dawned on them just what was going on.

"Oh...That..." Kaminari replied, having deflated a little before he shook his head a bit and brought his usual grin back. "Ah, I'm sure we'll be fine! Besides, there is no way this place will get as bad as America when this goes on!"

"Yeah, Kami's right! I say there's no need to worry!" Mina chimed in once again as they walked, her own smile returning.

"I don't know, guys. I feel like it might get kind of bad. I mean, if America went down South so quick, what's to stop it from happening here?" Sero asked, only to get repeatedly hit by Mina as a result.

"Be positive!" Mina whined, earning a snicker from Kaminari and Kirishima as they watched their friend.

While a sliver of worry did linger wthin the group, they were mostly calm and collected about the whole thing. After all, with it only being the first time it would happen, what use was there to worry? Aside from that, Kirishima, Mina, and Kaminari were just looking at the positive outcomes. Bakugou and Sero, Bakugou especially, were thinking a bit more pessimistically about what could happen. While Sero did find himself being swayed positively, Bakugou didn't budge. There was still that risk that people could infiltrate the school. Sure, it would be extremely hard to do so, but there was still that chance.

Kirishima noticed the scowl on Bakugou's face and pouted a bit. If there was anything he hated to see on any of his friends' face, it was any type of frown. But, he was well aware that if anyone could calm Bakugou down, it was him. After all, Mina, Denki, and Sero were always pointing that out to him.

"Hey, Bakubro, everything is gonna be fine! Relax!" Kirishima reassured as he lightly nudged the other. "Everything is going to be alright!"

"You can tell yourself that all you want. I'm not buying it. Something feels off," Bakugou admits to the other in a mumble, his scowl never lessening.

"Bakugou, come on, what's the worst that could happen?" Kirishima asked him with a lopsided grin on his face as he tried to get the other to relax.

Bakugou went quiet after that and only shook his head. There were so many things that could go wrong tonight. How was no one seeing that? However, Bakugou kept those concerns to himself. After all, the rest of the squad wasn't too worried, why worry them?

Things couldn't possibly go south so quickly, right?
