Jack tried to channel his grace towards Chuck but was instead blown into another dimension. It seemed like a normal earth. Not one of the weird planets that Jack had gotten glimpses from Kaia's dream walking. But he couldn't dwell on that. He was falling at an angle. He was headed straight for a very high tower. He couldn't fully open his wings because of the force of his fall, but what he could do was use his wings to protect him from impact damage that was sure to happen. Even if his grace did help him heal quicker than usual.
crash
He was right about impact. What he wasn't right about, though, was that his wings would help protect the rest of his body. They didn't help at all. Jack was pretty sure now that his wings weren't good for anything besides flying. He figured this out the hard way of course. Because on the impact of hitting the window, going through the window, and having glass shards stuck in his skin as he fell to the floor, he screamed a guttural scream and he was surprised it hadn't affected the room much. Usually, his screams affected his surroundings, then again those were mostly purposeful. This time there was no agenda behind it. It was just pure agony causing his terrifying screech. He attempted to stand, but instead, he stumbled back onto the floor, pushing more glass shards into his knees and hands. He gave on last loud cry before passing out from horrible pain.

"Sir, a humanoid creature has appeared to crash through the window in your room. Shall I show you the footage of what had happened before it fell and what it is currently doing now?" JARVIS alerted Tony politely, who was in his shop fixing up some of his old projects. He looked surprised, but not as much as a normal person should be. The Thanos problem had just been dealt with. He wanted a break, but at the same time, he loved to work. Tony sighed and set his tools down.
"Show me the footage, please." Tony answered just as politely. Tony wasn't very formal, but when it came to his creations, he was polite as he got towards them. Unless they got on his nerves, of course.
On the nearest TV, the footage of what looked like a golden flame had been hurdling towards the tower, but the closer it got, the more he could see that it was a human. Or at least looked like one. He watched as the humanoid stumbled and screamed, and eventually became unconscious. There was a lot of blood. Then the footage was turned into the current feed and the pool of blood was getting larger. The kid still knocked out on the floor.
Tony figured it was a reasonable time, 6:45 pm, to call an emergency meeting for the Avengers.
"JARVIS, tell the other Avengers to get their asses over here, we got a situation." Tony instructed as he went to tend to the alien's wounds while he waited for his friends to arrive. Tony managed to put bandages on the kid and dragged him to the medical room and put him on a hospital bed.
As he went to the meeting room, he was met with Natasha, Steve, Banner, Peter, and Clint. They all were sitting around the table, most being fidgety. The only one not moving was Natasha, who was slumped in her chair with her arms crossed. It was obvious she didn't think this was an actual emergency.
"So, Mr. Stark, why are we here?" Peter questioned curiously. His outfit was definitely not what Stark had expected, because usually he wore something nerdy, and he meant that in the nicest way, but today he wasn't. Today he was wearing a backward black baseball hat, rainbow crop top, black shorts, and blue/pink/white colors knee socks with his pink/yellow/blue converse. Noticing Tony's taken aback look, Peter explained sheepishly, "I was at the pride parade before this."
"Right. JARVIS, show them the footage you showed me earlier, please." Tony instructed as the humanlike creature popped up on the screen. They saw him crash into the building and pass out after some pretty rough sounding screams. All of the Avengers that had just arrived looked surprised and a little alarmed.
