I knocked on her door, sighing. This was the third time this week, but Jules had never opened. I was about to turn around when I heard a rustling inside. The lock clicked and the door swung open a little. I pushed on it, nervous.
"Jules? Are you in here?"
I didn't see anything, so I turned around. I was scanning the room when I saw something that made my blood boil.
"You. What have you done with Jules?" I was staring at the face of Coach Brunt. I tensed up, getting ready to fight. She just laughed.
"Oh, don't worry lambkins. We took good care of her. In fact, she's right behind you." I didn't take my eyes of the factually member, but instead looked in the mirror by the door. I saw the slender figure of Jules, but there was something off. She was wearing a navy-blue stealth suit, black gloves, and a shining mask. It was an animal, but I couldn't place it.
"Meet our newest recruit. Silver Wolf."
It was like she sent an electric shock through my body. I turned to what used to be Jules and looked into her eyes for a small chance of seeing her humanity. There was a harsh green glow to her eyes, far different from her regular, soft, blue-grey ones. Two small fangs extended from the mask and she jumped forward. Before I could react, she had sunk the metal fangs into my shoulder. I tried to push her off, not wanting to hurt her, but I started to feel tired and woozy. The fangs must have been coated with some sort of sleeping draught, and as I fell unconscious I could only whisper one thing.
"Jules, please don't do this." Everything started to go black, and then there was nothing.
