Chapter 9
-Everyone's own places-

"Crap... Lakira it's almost night, we need to hurry over to Inosuke" then they smelt something sweet with impurity.

"This way!" Lakira ordered and they jumped between building to building stopping at an open window,

"So you've come. Demon Hunters" Daki smirked, "is the pillar coming? You" She pointed to Tanjiro, "You seem weak, like that blond brat! How many are there." The upper moon flipped her hair as she revealed a human that was in her hands, "you do realize I don't want any non-Pillars right now... Right"

"Let her go!!" Tanjiro yelled and Lakira pulled him back, "Lakira?"

"Your decent looking for a demon, " Lakira smiled, "But you're scent, it's horrible" Lakira sneered as she teased Daki. Lakira jumped away from Daki's sash. "A temper uh..." Then she hit Tanjiro who fell on to the roof of another building,

"Still alive hu, you two are stronger then I thought!" Daki pointed to the both of them, "I'll gouge out your eyes and eat them. You, I'll eat you whole!"

"You should leave my eyes off your dinner plate, my eye site is awful" Lakira joked and the upper moon jumped at the both of them and attacked them with her sash with Tanjiro cutting of the section where she imprisoned koinatsu.

"Your cute but ugly. Your like a rat that doesn't rest!" Daki told Tanjiro then looked away resting her hand on her hip, "These bugs are a sore... How many came? Six?"

"Not saying" Tanjiro huffed

"If you tell me I'll let you live" she started walking up to him, "We clashed a bit just now, your blade is chipped. Whoever made that must suck" Tanjiro and Lakira looked at his sword wide-eyed,

"No, he's an amazing blacksmith!"

"Look at you, your quivering like a bunny, I'll just kill you now!" Daki sneered

Lakira glared, "You can do it Tanjiro I'm wind your fire, set your heart ablaze!" They sliced at the same time,

'Dance of the fire God: Scorching Crimson mirror'

'Breath of the Wind: Clean Storm Wind Tree' the fire and wind had cut the Daki's sash clean off while the fire ran across it burning her shoulder,

'Flame waltz'

'Upper wind'

'Lakira was right the wind is increasing the flame and the heat but, this is nothing if she dodges our attack one more time it's no good!' Tanjiro though as he jumped behind her and Lakira bent back to dodge her swing, 'An opening!'

'Come on Tanjiro!' Lakira smirked as both of their swords at her neck then jumped back seeing the sash go back into Daki's body, and her appearance changing as she jumped on top a roof,

"Lakira! We need to follow her!"

"Hey, you stop arguing out here! Go somewhere else! Shoo!!"

"What a nuisance," The demon said as all the buildings collapse and Lakira jumped in front of Tanjiro getting hit as blood splatter everywhere.

"Lakira!" Tanjiro gapped not noticing the cut on him till he tried moving towards his teammate, he looked around and rage overthrew him as his eyes were glazed with blood,

"Get back here!!" Lakira yelled chasing after her and Tanjiro followed as Lakira grab the Moon demons leg and cut it off.

"You don't give up hu!!" Lakira swings her blade making the blood splatter. Lakira and Tanjiro started sprinting and the sash circled them as they got closer a ring of fire was made by Tanjiro and he tried slicing her neck, "Haha!! There's no way my head will ever be cut off!!" Then she flinched and jumped away as Lakira's wind priced a hole in her.

"Tch!! That was just luck you humans are weak an-"

"Nezuko!?" Lakira gasped as she kicked the upper moon head off and the body tumbled. Lakira looked back at Tanjiro who fell, "Tanjiro. Breath!" She winced as he coughed up blood.

"Mmmpphh!!" Nezuko growled, "Mmph!" What Nezuko saw was jolting and out of all the demons, she's met. This one angered her the most.

"Now you've done it. You...!! Oh, you. It's you." Daki's head finished regenerating, "you're the one that man was talking about." Nezuko showed her claws as she stepped forward.

Tanjiro laid down almost sliding off making Lakira grab him as the two demons had a stare-off.

"I'll torture her to death, if you please!" Nezuko jumped at the upper moon and tried kicking her and in return had her led sliced off, "You lowly demon!!" Nezuko looked at her bleeding leg and lifted her arms trying to block the sash and her arm got cut off as she got launched into a building. "You're weak. You pretty much haven't eaten any humans." Nezuko struggled to get from the rubble crushing her, "Oh, you poor thing, your torso is now in complete shreds. That's a big wound for a half-assed being like you" Daki flipped her hair, "We're both demons so I won't bully you anymore. I'll take you into my sash, then have the sun kill you." The demons smirk went down when Nezuko walked out of the debris and regrew her arm. She broke her mouthpiece as she grew older.

Nezuko tried giving in another kick but her leg was slice off, "Next is your head!" Then she was kicked into the dirt Nezuko foot went through the Upper Moons body and a smile creeped on Nezuko's face.

Lakira flinched as Nezuko's head got sliced off, "Tanjiro get up!" Lakira hit his back making him grunt,

"Gyaaahh!!" Lakira turned to see Daki on fire and Nezuko smashing the demons head in and kicked her into a house.

"Nezuko...!!" Lakira jumped down and ran at Nezuko wrapping her legs around Nezuko and put her blade in Nezuko's mouth, "Don't hurt anyone Nezuko please! Go back to sleep and reco-" Nezuko scratched Lakira's eye making lakira cry, "Nezuk-" She and Nezuko were launched into the upper floor and Tanjiro came as the people ran.

"Lakira, Nezuko!!" He ran up to them, "Nezkuo sleep, please sleep!" He turned around hearing the door brake, 'not good. Think, think and act'

"Hey, isn't this Kamado Nezuko? She's flamboyantly progressing into a demon." The sound pillar said shocking both Lakira and Tanjiro

"A pillar came from that direction? Saves me the trouble"

"So annoying. I'm talking over here. Buzz off. Your not the demon I'm looking for. Your too weak for an Upper Moon" the head of the demon slowly came off and she grunted.

"My head...?"
