A/N I thought that I should mention a few things. First off I don't actually have an updated schedule so let me know if I should actually attempt one or if it doesn't make that much of a difference to y'all. I also wanted to address the fact that I will continually forget to actually put the chapter title after the chapter number before I publish it and want to apologize for the spam of your notification box. On the bright side if I update the title of the previous chapter that usually means that I'm starting the next chapter and just noticed that I forgot again.

Charlotte's POV

When I woke up it was early in the morning and I didn't expect to see anyone else in the little lounge area. I surprisingly saw Remington. He was sat on the couch on his phone and seemingly hadn't noticed my presence yet. I decided to tale advantage of that and quietly crept over from the doorway to about two metres from him.

"Whatcha up to Remington?" I asked

he jumped and looked very startled.

"What the fuck?!"

"Sorry, I just couldn't resist!" I said slightly timidly.

"It's okay I just didn't see you there!" he said

"That was kinda the point of scaring you"

I walked over to the place that id left my jacket the previous night and grabbed my phone. As I started walking back to the bunk area to grab my bag with my charger my nearly dead phone buzzed. Someone was calling me, from a number that I hadn't seen for a few years. when I answered it was the same voice it had always been.

"Christine, is there a reason you're calling me this early on a Wednesday afternoon? Especially when nothing has come up for two years."

(Okay so brief thing to explain Christine and the situation with Charlotte's son who is now named Robyn if you didn't already know. Christine took over being Robyn's social worker when he was two after his previous social worker got killed in a car crash. the car crash part isn't actually important though. Also, Robyn has been in the system since he was a baby but has had visits with his mom over the four years he has been alive. Also, I'm sorry that I'm definitely getting things wrong about how the foster care system works. Okay back to the story I'm sorry)

"I was calling to let you know that Robyn is being switched out of the foster home that he has been in for the last two years." She said

"What why?" I asked

"The parents no longer wanted to foster kids so he is being switched to another home," she said

"And where would that be?" I asked

"Well,I was calling hoping that you had found a stable living situation. I really want Robyn to be with his mother." She said

"I don't have a stable living situation currently as I am on tour but I have started to reconnect with my family and now that I'm thinking about it I'm wondering if Robyn would be allowed to stay with my mother? I would have to run it past her and I'm sure that you have checks that you would have to do but I was wondering if that's a possibility?"

"I would have to put him in a home until we could have that fully figured out and ready but I think that would deffinetly be possible as long as your mother is okay with Robyn staying with her and of course we would have to do backround checks and house visits but i can deffineltly work on that from my end."

"Ill call my mom and see about this with her. Thank you for helping me with this Christine!" I said

"Of course Charlotte. Have a good day."

"You as well Christine."

I wanted to scream with happiness. my son might finally get to be with blood family. He might get to know me.

"What was that about?"

"Jesus!!!" I yelped

I had forgotten that I was in the bunk area and turned around to see Emerson

"Sorry didn't meant to scare you honeysuckle" he giggled

"Its all good. It was Robyn's social worker. He needs a new placement. I need to call Mom, I-i asked if he could maybe be placed back with blood family" I was suddenly a lot quieter

"Your son?" Emerson asked

"Yeah" I was almost whispering now

"Sounds like you need to call Risa" he said holding my shoulder

"Yeah. Maybe later its pretty early back home." I said.

"Whatever works best for you" he said giving me the soft smile I always got as a little kid when I needed some guidance.

He walked towards the main area as I sat back in my bunk and thought.
