*Kim Taehyung POV*

I'm sure it is middle of the night when I was in my deep sleep and suddenly my phone ring with a familiar ringtone I set for Y/n.
I grabbed my phone and picked up the call.
"Hey babe." V
"I'm downstairs." Y/n
"Look at the time please, I'm sleeping." V
"See you in 10 minutes." Y/n
She ended the call and I made my way to the window and saw she was waving her hand excitedly.
"You gotta be kidding me." V
I sighed and went to washed my face and changed to a better clothes. I know exactly what she's up to, she loves food, so at time like this, she must be craving for street foods.

Even though I'm still sleepy but she's still my priority. Whenever she needs me, I'll be there for her and that same goes to her. We need each other so bad, that's all I knew.
As soon she saw me at the main entrance of my apartment, she quickly came to me.
"Kim Taehyung!" Y/n
"Shut up.." V
"Here.. I bought this especially for you." Y/n
She handed me a box, even I don't understand what she's trying to do, still I received the box with my boxy smile.
"Thanks." V
"Now, let's go! We need to feed your tummy." Y/n
"Or it's yours?" V
"Well obviously, but since it's your special day, I'll treat you." Y/n
"Hey, what is it about actually? Why with all the present and treats?" V
"Will you just shut up and follow me?" Y/n
She walked off leaving me and still I followed her until we arrived at one of my favourite restaurant.
"Why are we here?" V
"To do some exercise?" Y/n
I annoyingly looked at her and she chuckled.
"I told you I'm gonna treat you right? Did you forgot that today is your birthday?" Y/n
I was surprised and looked at the date on my watch.
"It is my birthday." V
"So, shall we celebrate it now?" Y/n
I chuckled while nodding my head and together we walked in the restaurant.

I was staring at her eating all the foods she ordered. I can't stop smiling looking at her cute face while she's eating. She eat like nobody's there.
"What are you looking at?" Y/n
"A pig." V
She stop eating, she turned to face me with her hamster cheeks while I just chuckled, she was looking at me annoyingly and still I find it so cute.
"But you love this pig don't you?" Y/n
"Well, I eat pork so I love pig." V
"You know I hate you." Y/n
"And I'm aware that you love me." V
"Just because it's your birthday you can't bully me that easily." Y/n
"Stop being so dramatic, I didn't even do anything, you're just cute." V
"I know that. So thanks for reminding." Y/n
"Stop blushing or I'm gonna hate you." V
"Auw.. that is so sweet." Y/n
I chuckled and took a sip of my drinks.
"You know you shouldn't do all this." V
"Shhh...I don't wanna hear anything you're complaining about this. I do this for my bestfriend so shhh..enjoy your day." Y/n
Again I chuckled at her while she continue eating. From that smiley face I know there must be something she's hiding. She could never hide it from me.
"Babe, come on, just tell me what is it." V
She put down the chopstick and her eyes started to gathered some tears.
"Hey, what is it?" V
"He's back V.." Y/n
"Who do you mean?" V
She just staring at me while her tears already fell to her cheeks and suddenly the thoughts of her uncle came to haunt me.
"Don't tell me your uncle came back." V
She's nodding her head but this time she cover her face with her both palms.
"Shit. Then you have to get out from that house. You can live with me." V
"No, he knew where you live and he knew everything about you, I don't want him to hurt you like he done before." Y/n
"That's nothing. Your safety is more important now." V
"I don't know V. I'm afraid that he'll hurts us." Y/n
"Don't worry about it babe. You'll save with me. Listen, for the time being, just stay with me." V
She wiped away her tears and I came to hug her hoping that will calm her.
"I'm sorry, it's supposed to be your happiest day, I'm sorry." Y/n
"It's okay babe. I'm worried about you." V
"I just hope he didn't bother me this time. I just want to live without knowing him." Y/n
I just nods my head. Somewhere in that face was still terrified of what had happened before. Her uncle was a monster to ever live in this world, he's been living in jail for 10 years because of attempting to raped her and he even sell her to a porn club. That was the worst thing to ever happened to her, I'm just glad that she's strong to face all this.

*Y/n POV*
"Wait here, I'll just have to take few things." Y/n
V just nodding his head while putting his both hands in his pocket.
I quickly took some of my important things to stay with V for a while, I'm afraid of my safety too, at anytime he will come again to ruin my life. After done everything, I walked out the apartment. Suddenly I felt like something is wrong when I heard a car drifting around and stopped in front of my apartment, I just done locking my door and made my way to V. We both looked at each other since the car seems dangerous. It was so fast that suddenly someone walked out the car. We both are so shocked that it was my uncle, his face was full of grunge.
"Long time no see my lovely niece." U
"No!!" Y/n
His evil laugh made me shivering, V already stood in front of me to protect.
"Don't even try to get near, or touch her." V
He scoffed at V's bravery while he chuckled.
"Move." U
"Over my dead body." V
The fights suddenly happened when my uncle punch V's face. I screamed for help around but seems nobody really care about it.
My uncle fell on the ground at V's strongest punch but then he pointing a gun at me making the both of us shocked. I was completely lost, only tears expressing myself right now.
"Now, this is the end of your life Y/n." U
A few gun shots was heard around, It was all happened so fast that I didn't knew that I suddenly fell on the ground, realizing I was totally okay, but when I turned to my side V is already coughing some bloods, I quickly came to him and lay his head on my lap.
"V!! No,no, please no.." Y/n
My uncle already left with the car earlier when he knew that he made another crime.
I screamed for help, my body are shaking as V bleeding so much, I put some pressure on the gun shot hoping it will stop, but it didn't even help, the bleeding keep on going.
"V.. please stay with me.." Y/n
He tried to smiled in his pain.
"You'll be okay babe... I'm sorry.." V
"No!!! Don't leave me!!" Y/n
His hand gets even weaker and I just didn't see it coming. My bestfriend died on his birthday and I lost the only person I had in this world. I couldn't describe the hurts I felt right now, but the only thoughts I have now is just that my uncle die too, and at the same time I heard a loud car crash happening and there's a loud bomb sound.
It shocked me, but my attention went to V again, he's laying breathless and all I wanna do is just hold him in my embrace for a long time. The tears didn't even stop fell down to my cheeks.
"Please.... Help me..." Y/n
