The Christmas holidays came to an end rather quickly but Jackson found himself not that upset about having to leave again. Sure, he was going to miss his mum and dad but it meant he got to see his friends again. He had missed Ron, Hermione and Harry so much. They had been talking through letters and he laughed when he read the one from Harry, stating how giddy he was about getting presents for the first time.

It made Jackson wish he had been there to see the look of joy on his friends face. He also really wanted to see the invisibility cloak Harry had received from a mysterious stranger.

He was seated in the library, reading a book for class with Harry and Ron on the opposite side of the table when Hermione came over and slammed a large book on the table, making Jackson jump up in fright at the sudden noise in the quiet library.

"I had you looking in the wrong section! How could I be so stupid? I checked this out a few weeks ago for a bit of light reading." Hermione sat down next to Jackson and opened the large book.

The whole restricted section had turned out useless and Harry hadn't found out any new information and had nearly gotten got to. Luckily, his new cloak had come in very handy. He had been pretty busy while Jackson had been away. The young boy felt like he had missed out on all the action.

"This is light?" Ron scoffed, looking at the heavy book then back up at Hermione in shock.

Hermione narrowed her eyes and glared back at the redhead for a few moments before her eyes went down to the book and she pointed at the page. "Here it is! Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone!"

"The what?" All three of the boys said at the same time. Jackson raised his eyebrows. "Guess Hermione is the only inky one who reads out of us three."

Hermione nodded her head in agreement and continued to read the page, "the Philosopher's Stone is a legendary substance with astonishing powers. It will turn any metal into pure gold and produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal."

Ron tilted his head in confusion. "Immortal?"

"It means you'll never die." Hermione said helpfully.

Ron took offence to that and blushed in embarrassment. "I know what it means!" He yelled loudly, causing some of the other students to look over at him in annoyance. They were in a library after all and were supposed to be quiet. Jackson huffed at his friend and Harry put a finger to his lips and told him to be quiet.

Hermione only ignored him again. "The only stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicholas Flamel, the noted alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday! That's what Fluffy's guarding on the 3rd floor. That's what's under the trapdoor... the Philosopher's Stone!"
