On her way home from her hunt,
After what felt like an endless climb.
Karliah stopped as she reached the peak of the Great Mountains.
She looked up longingly at the stars as the lights from the moon colonies shimmered like a big centerpiece in the night sky.
If only she could go,
If only she could fly across the stars.
Like the great Snow hawk fly across the lands.
But ever since the revolution started in the capital,
No-one was allowed to leave or enter the planet.
Even if she could leave, how could she let down the village?
How could she let down father?
She looked down towards the Great Forest.
The snow that had piled up on her face fell to the mercy of the wind.
And as she looked at the village lights shining in the trees, she's struck by the beauty of her home.
The same lands that years before she swore to protect.
This place will always be her home.
Even so.
She couldn't help but to feel like her destiny layed elsewhere.
