"Don't go back, stay," was sprawled on the wall. Well, that only worsened my mood. With the feel of the place, and now the words, I turned back to run out of the cave. But, now I wasn't alone, and someone was standing there.

I always felt like I was being watched on this mission, and it looks like they finally decided to come out. I quickly looked at my surroundings before I started backing up against the wall. I turned to the mouth of the cave, the person that was supposed to be there, wasn't there.

I just continued walking backwards, sure that I still wasn't alone. I just had this feeling still. I bumped into something, someone. The fact they were able to move so fast without me seeing didn't worry me anymore, as panic settled into my mind. They grabbed me firmly, and leaned down.

"Didn't you read the sign?" they drawled, their voice sounding surprisingly human-like, and something I could listen to all day. "Don't leave us. Stay. You'll absolutely love it here." That last part was whispered in my ear, my body trembling uncontrollably by now. The only answer they got was my scream as I collapsed to the floor.
