A concoction of voices filled the air, distracting his tired eyes from his dismal day at work. His sigh only added a layer to the buzz of the area around him, spirits were up. After all, late Friday night, a drink was in order to kiss the labours of the week to week schedule goodbye for just forty eight precious hours.

Snippets of conversation danced past his ear, the language almost unfamiliar after so long, it took him a few minutes to readjust and distinguish the sounds so that the meaning formed inside his mind. It took him even longer to realise that the female next to him was speaking to him, for some reason which he didn't understand. He glanced her over, short brown hair, styled with slight spikes, framing a petit, pixie like face. Blue eyes, a slight ring of yellow surrounding the midnight black pupils. Full, wide lips, smacking against each other with each syllable she muttered.

It was something about his name, he wasn't really listening to her. He let her ramble on for a few minutes, the words entering through one ear and out the other, until he eventually grew tired of the incessant buzzing by his ear and motioned for her to leave. He was confused, to say the least when she didn't and he groaned, uttering the first words he'd said all night to the woman in front of him, "Leave, please." His voice soft and calm like usual, but a threatening tone prominent in his doe-like eyes. The creature looked at him with a hint of surprise laced in his eyes, sure, he hadn't exactly looked interested but he didn't have to be so rude about it. With a disgusted snort she stood up, pushing back her stool and stalked off in the other direction, possibly to dance- he didn't really care.

Raising a hand to ask for another drink, he rolled his eyes. He pissed her off, and he was probably going to hear about it later- with his luck he'd be the club managers daughter or something along those lines. Sighing, he raised his glass before realising it was empty. He grew impatient whilst waiting for the other drink. Fingers unconciously tapping on the wood of the table in front of him, distracting his mind from the lively atmosphere- he glanced around, disgusted at what he saw. People who had consumed too much alcohol for it to be humane were grinding sloppily against each other- the strobe lighting not helping their already low appearance in any way possible. The music was pounding in his ears, some unfamiliar tune which made his head ring as the vocalist claimed to hit the right notes.

Distracted by the satisfying clink of glass and wood, he turned to see his drink had arrived, picking it up and balancing it lazily in his hand, he brought it too his lips, a smirk of satisfaction playing on them as he did. Taking a sip, he was repulsed by the bitter taste, the smirk turning into a glare he practically threw it back down on the table, with noted of paper that had some historical figure on and a sum of numbers. Pushing his chair out from underneath him he stood, slowly placing one foot in front of the other as he started to feel the effects of the alcohol, he slowly but steadily walked to the exit, ignoring all the people who tried to convince him to have clothed sex with them.

Finally, he reached the door and took a step outside, slightly surprised when he felt a cold speck on his nose- snow. The first snow if winter, for the first time that evening he let a slight smile form on his lips, not a smirk, not a frown, a smile. Remembering the last time he had been here when it had snowed, that precious memory.. Yet all he could recall was the soft voice. That voice that called out his name so many times. "Luhan."
