The Savage Island

Prologue:

The Island of Isla Tacaño. The most deadly and dangerous island in the Muertes Archipelago. This island has an active volcano which could erupt at any time. Well that is the threat anyways. Dr. Wu's calculations say that the next volcanic eruption won't occur for at least thirty more years. A few decades ago Dr. Henry Wu was the leading geneticist for a company called InGen. InGen was created by two people, John Hammond and Benjamin Lockwood. Lockwood left the project after a dispute between Hammond and himself but the company would be successful and Lockwood would still profit from it. Dr. Wu would be recruited to work for InGen during the late eighties and early nineties. Then in 1993 it happened. A sabotage caused by corporate espionage by rival genetics titan BioSyn caused Hammond's project to fail: Jurassic Park. The genetically engineered dinosaurs escaped from their pens, Hammond ordered people off of Isla Nublar (where the park was being overrun by dinosaurs) and off of Isla Sorna (the island where the breeding and raising of the dinosaurs took place). There would be two more incidents in later years. One on each of the islands, Sorna and Nublar. All the while Dr. Wu continued his work using InGen's resources to finance his work. One of the incidents would bring a T-Rex to the world at large but it would be covered up. An organization called Monarch covered up the event that has since been known as the San Diego Incident, and has close tabs on the Muertes Island chain. However they are not watching close enough as Dr. Wu has recently received funding from a new source for a new project. It has been nearly twenty years since that initial incident. InGen restarted Jurassic Park under the name Jurassic World, cleaned up Isla Nublar, and have since gone public with the park. Dr. Wu was along every step of the way. He was already designing and creating the Indominus Rex when in 2014, Godzilla, the Titans, and Monarch were revealed to the world. An entirely new ecosystem of animals and DNA had been opened to Doctor Wu. Dr. Wu created the Indominus Rex, it got loose, and now he is taking time off to make deals with his new partner, Eli Mills. Eli is the wielder of the fortune for the now elderly Benjamin Lockwood. Whereas Lockwood and Hammond had their morals for how to proceed with the genetic experiments, Mills is only concerned with profit. This is the type of person that is much easier to manipulate for Doctor Wu. Even Simon Masrani, who had bought a large enough share of InGen to own Jurassic World when it fell had his morals but his company was so large it was easy enough to do things under his nose. Mills however has large resources but is to dumb and blinded by greed to understand when the doctor is manipulating him.this brings us to the present. Doctor Wu is currently witnessing his latest toy come in via a fleet of helicopters and VTOLs. The Gorosaurus specimen. Recently Doctor Wu had been experimenting with the idea of sonics to control the kaiju. He had heard that some of Monarch's scientists were doing similar projects so he figured why not try himself. He hired an experienced and competent Eco-Terrorist, Jonah Allen, to use a specially designed tranquilizer (made by Wu himself) to hunt down and bring him several kaiju. He has thus far received two kaiju for his experimentation. The first was a Titan called Titanosaurus, this creature's DNA is now more familiar to Dr. Wu and he has begun some experiments with the beast's genetic code. The second is the Gorosaurus currently being lowered to the ground. This beast was a lone Gorosaurus. From what Wu has learned the Gorosaurus prefer to live in packs unless one of them becomes too agitated or aggressive to continue living with the group. This Gorosaurus is a loner and its body is covered in scars from previous battles, some quite recently in fact. Its body is primarily darker blue tones that are nearly black with a yellow underbelly. It has fought both Titanosaurus and another Titan named Zilla. It has fought with the other prehistoric life on Mondo Island (home of the Gorosaurus species and others) and has been tranquilized and transported several times in the past week or so all the while being abandoned by its herd which is like a family for the creatures.

'It's almost tragic.'

Doctor Wu muses to himself.

'Perhaps I shall name you Romeo after your own tragedy. Yes I like the sound of that.'
