They then went out to go have some breakfast and their parents told them they had bad news; they were running out of money and they had to move into the country because things would be cheaper. When the three children heard this they immediately felt horrible, they did not want to move, the had lots of friends at their school, they had a nice big house with windows and massive bedrooms and they especially did not want to be near stinky farms. They started arguing with their parents, saying how they liked where they lived and they had lots of friends at school. But their parents still told them the same thing, "We don't have enough money to stay in the city, we have to move into the country where things will be cheaper". So the three children decided that there was nothing that they could do, and they just had to agree with their parents and move into the country. Then mum told them, "Start packing all your things into boxes because they're all going into the moving van tonight. Jess, Tim and Bec were very disappointed that they were leaving tonight because they wanted to say goodbye to their friends. But their parents told them that they could call them whenever they wanted because their friends all had phones.
