"Hey bro, can you get my phone?" I yelled to Chase, as he just began walking down the stairs.
Chase then turns around, going back to the room that we both share to get my phone. I heard my phone go off but it has been such a long day, that I cannot bring myself to go up the stairs and get it.
"Since when do you get instagram notifications for my sister?" Chase asks, walking down the stairs staring at my phone screen.
Dammit, I couldn't tell Chase that I thought his sister was cute. He is beyond protective of his twin sister, none of us have even met her in person. I saw her in one of Chase's videos and I immediately thought she was stunning, and might I add, nothing like her brother.
"I have my post notifications on for everyone," I simply replied, hoping that he couldn't catch my lie.
I get up as fast as I can, snatching my phone from Chase's hand and opening up instagram to see what Karissa posted.

"Well, are you?" Asked Chase, taking me out of my trance from reading Karissa's comments.
"Am I what?" I simply asked, still thinking about the comment swayla left on her instagram post.
"Are you in love with my sister?"Chase said bluntly, I couldn't tell if he was messing with me until he said, "I'm just messing with you Nick, I know you would never betray me like that."
Is chase really that overprotective of his sister?
"Karissa's moving into the Sway house? How did you let that happen?" I tried to sound as casual as possible when asking Chase this question, knowing that if I showed too much interest, he would get suspicious.
I have known Chase over 4 years now. We became friends through an app called Musical.ly which is now known as TikTok. Chase has always been my best friend and now that we share a room at the Hype house, we are closer than ever.
"It was Karissa's decision, she said she didn't want to take away from my fame, whatever that means. I'm sure she's going to be around the hype house since the sway boys practically live here," Chase said, leaving to go into the kitchen and ending our conversation.
Now it was just my thoughts and I, sitting on the couch. Out of the 4 years I have known Chase, he has never been the one to bring up his sister when the group is around. Occasionally, he would mention her to me, but that's it. I was somehow so curious about Karissa and all I knew was that I wanted to know more about her. But how do I do that without losing my best friend?
