Old friends

She looks at me confused "Who are you?" I walk over to her and pull her into a warm embrace. "Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet." Meghan eyes swell up with tears and she returns my hug, bawling madly. I see a man push himself through the crowd surrounding us, Craig (Blackbeard). "What the hell did you do to her?!" He yells separating the two of us and grabbing me by my shirt. I tower over his 5'11 frame. "Stop don't." Valkyrie is able to choke out between sobs while being comforted by her fellow operators.
"Is... is it really you?"
"Yes. Long time no see Meghan."
"Someone explain what's going on here." Blackbeard says while he's dumbfounded.
I press a button behind my ear and the mask clicks, I slowly remove it. A small gasp escapes everyone.
"I thought the bugger kept his mask on because he was ugly." Thatcher chimes in.
Craig looks at me and wraps his arms around me.
"How you've been Orion?"
A Japanese man pulls out his phone and yells "He's Orion Black!"
Sledge bumps Thatcher's arm "Mate you almost died."
"Wait how do you guys know each other?" Grace asks
"In the SEALs even though he is only a year older I always pictured him as a older brother, he helped me create my black eye we worked on it for the longest time and every time we did he would always say "Patience is bitter, but it's fruit is sweet."
Sledge walks forward " If they say he's alright then he's alright." He says earning a nod from majority of the room.
Thatcher retorts with "He'll prove himself in the field when he doesn't betray us."
The loudspeakers cuts us off " Serpent report to the training yard for analysis."
I walk in the direction of my room, I'm stopped by the Japanese man he points, "That way."
"I need to get my gear."
"Echo."
I nod at the man "Masaru."

POV switch
Grace POV

Serpent turns the corner with a large suitcase, every operator is here to witness his exam even Nøkk who no one ever even sees. First is the shooting range, he presses a button on the side and the suitcase expands even Six is a little surprised by this. He pulls out some standard gear and sets it on the ground, a M4a1 and a barrette. Taking a step closer I realize what is actually in the suitcase.
"My God, he's must be planning a damn war." Ela says going through his stuff. As if he teleported he grabbed Ela by the throat and lifted her into the air and kicking and punching proving futile while she attempts to take in air.
"Stop." Six commands, He immediately let's go "All this talk about self control and you almost kill two people. No need for a speed test."
"If they are like this in the field they won't survive."
"They have before."
"Not against me and even that's not enough to take out him."
He sets the target at 10,000 meters with his barrette "Impossible." Glaz whispers.
The sound is deafening, Serpent, the one using the gun is the only one who doesn't cover his ears.
The metal target is completely shattered, he cycles the bolt and puts the barrette away.
Grabbing his M4A1 he moves it to 5,000 meters.
"I'm not even surprised anymore." Glaz with his head in hands.
He flips the selector switch and empties 60 rounds into the target's head in the blink of an eye.
"He made them." Six answering the most crucial question
"Onto hand to hand training. To preserve time we will fight right here."
"Can I pick my opponents."
"That is acceptable."
He points a 4 people, Kapkan, Thatcher, Caveira, and Zofia.
"Mate is getting himself killed." Thatcher says as the group moves toward them.
Serpent enters a martial arts stance that I am unfamiliar with, I hear a small gasp from Ying.
The four throw punches at him simultaneously, he redirects Zofia's punch at Caveira hits Kapkan with three quick jabs to the ribs and sweeps Thatcher's leg. Him and Zofia's are the only left standing, Caveria gets up and silently creeps up behind him and throw a punch at his head. Serpent jerks his head to the left and grabs Caveria's at throwing her Zofia. Thatcher gets up and tries a Superman punch, futile. With a quick side step and a swift uppercut all of the operators are down. He walk over to Kapkan and hits him twice, Kapkan sits up swiftly unable to comprehend what happened.
"I shut down your nervous system, no permanent effects."
He exits the ring and heads to his dorm.
