Joey: Where do you live?

Me: LA and you?

Joey: North Carolina. I have lived 3 years in LA though.

Me: Really, why did you move to NC?

Joey: Well, we lived in NC and then we had to move to LA for 3 years for my dad's job and then last year we went back to NC.

Suddenly I see lots of snaps from Kaylee coming up. Shit, I totally forgot about her.

I hear the doorbell ring. My parents are working rn so I'm home alone. I walk downstairs and open the door. "Hey," I say enveloping her in a hug. "Hey," she says. We walk upstairs to my room and we sit on my bed. "Did he sent you a picture yet?" Kaylee asks grinning. I show her the picture Joey sent me. "He's cute," she says. "Ikr". "Ooohh someone's crushing," Kaylee says smirking. "I barely even know him. I only know his name, where he lives and that he has the same age as me," I say. "And that he's single," Kaylee added winking. I playfully push her. We both go on our phones.

Me: Hey, I'm back😌

Joey: Hey😁

I blush. Kaylee notices. "What are you blushing at?" she asks grabbing my phone. She grins handing me my phone back.

Joey: Wanna video call?😜

"Joey asks if I want to video call," I say to Kaylee. "Say yes," she says smiling.

Me: Okay😊

Joey video calls me and I accept. "Hey," he says through the phone. "Hey," I say slightly blushing. "Hii," Kaylee says popping in front of my camera. Joey laughs. "I'm assuming you're Nessa's best friend," "That's mee," Kaylee says sliding her arm over my shoulder. She pulls away and goes back on her phone laying down.

We've been chatting for a while getting to know each other a bit better. We hung up and me and Kaylee watched a movie. I post a snap before we go sleeping.
